TJ's Donut Factory — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

So I just went here for the first time. I was super excited about getting a good donut y'all, right? Well my nephew and I enter in and I buy a maple glazed donut. Afterwards my nephew and I walk around looking to see what all they have to offer, as they have quite a bit of stuff in there. Once I got done looking around I bought an Arizona sweet tea. My nephew started approaching the counter after I bought my tea and the lady asked are you buying or just moving around? And I said he's buying something he's with me cuz he had something he was gonna get. He asks if they did cash back wish they don't. And so he decided he didn't want to buy what he has in his hand. Then offer to put it back himself and she was all no I'll do it. Well he really just wanted to get a drink instead, and as he was trying to explain that to her she was just talking over him and basically telling him if you were just looking to get out of the store. And basically like just stood in his way and wouldn't let him even have the chance to explain or buy anything else they were very rude. Even racist. They portrayed themselves as disgusting people, and their donuts are just as disgusting as they are. Yes I tried the donut out that I was so excited to get, and it was dry and by the time I took it out of the paper sack all of the icing had peeled away off of it I do not recommend them for anything thumbs...

I've been going here for years, I've never had issues but it's quality of service and products have gone downhill as of late. I've bought disposable vape products from here many times and recently I had problems with a few and disregarded it giving this place reasonable doubt for their products not working properly. This time was the 3rd time I had a problem with their disposable vapes so I confronted them and the old man said to come back in the morning so I was puzzled as to why they couldn't just replace it since I was a repeating customer. So I went back this morning and now he tells me he said to come back at 9am which I don't recall. So I told him u won't see me no more and left the defective disposable vape sitting on his counter. Do not buy vapes at this gas station if u value your time and money! Also thier led light bar came with...

Just. Wow. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I walked in and thought...look, donuts...in a gas station. I’m glad that my ignorant preconceived notions did not stop me from taste testing a half dozen. I went in at about 8 am on Sunday morning...and they were delicious. Unique, tasty, and delicious. They need to expand a little!

Edit 1/13/2024 It breaks my heart to do this. This is the second time I’ve been in here as of late, and it is not like it used to be at all. I hadn’t been here in a while, and I’m glad I haven’t. These donuts or not the donuts that I reviewed initially. Not at all. This place has very mediocre donuts, and they definitely overcharge you so beware and watch what you’re getting and make sure you are being charged accordingly. There are much better...
