You will love this place. I came in here for the first time yesterday and was so happy with my experience. First of all I have been looking for a dairy free boba place for what feels like forever! I am so happy to have found Varins! They have multiple alternative milk choices including oat milk which I was very happy to see as I am allergic to soy and almond milk. They also have alternatives to tapioca based boba pearls which I think is great for allergies and sensitive diets. I ordered the nagasaki with regular and brown sugar pearls. It was very good but definitely on the very sweet side. Also ordered a Creme brûlée Croffle and I must say I was completely blown away. The texture of the croffle is so unique and interesting and the topping was absolutely delicious not sure what it was I thought it was butter at first glance but it was like a whipped sweet cream, that paired perfectly with the croffle. It felt like it melted in my mouth. On top of having an original interesting and delicious menu, the restaurant is extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. They have great interior design and it is very instagrammable. They even have a little flower wall corner with a swing and it’s the cutest thing ever. I thought I had good boba tea before. I was wrong. Varin's tea is in a league of their own.

Quality ingredients, great options, friendly staff.

I have visited numerous times now and with everything I get I am impressed. Flavours are well balanced, service is warm and informative. Although the prices may seem high I have never felt shorted by the amount I have paid vs what I have been given. Their fruit teas are refreshing and sweetened exactly to my liking. Their milk teas carry a great level of flavour without being overpowering or cloyingly sweet. Their specialty teas are distinct and one of the only places I know to accuratly replicate Okinawan milk tea. The croffles are rich and flaky with fluffiness and (depending on what you order) a cramelized crispness with every bite. Very much an indulgent treat.

First time there I had a great experience, I tried crystal boba and I didn’t like and asked for a replacement and they did it for me (regardless of them being happy or not) because they could’ve refused. The boba is AMAZEBALLS. It’s warm and sweet and chewy. It tastes more fresh than other boba shops I’ve been too and this one is by far my favorite. Before I was going to WIN Bubble Tea in Antioch and they are trash, I didn’t realize how much they sucked until I came here. VSS might be 30mins away but the drive is worth it for good quality boba. Never go out of business please (I highly doubt they will, I’m there every week sometimes twice a day)… I do wish they were more friendly but they’re young and we all have our days!
