This is the worst place ever to go to if you’re black and want to feel uncomfortable from the staff. I sat at the bar for 15 mins as people walked behind and got served over me. The tall young blonde woman that works there at night looked at me trying to get her attention and flat out ignored. Once I finally got her attention she told me with a nasty attitude to wait I’m serving someone. I said nothing she then proceeds to finish the people who were after me bill and then walks to the back and not come back out to serve me!! Thankfully the other bartender served me even though he didn’t look too thrilled. The tall young blonde woman comes out but she continues to give me stares as if she did not want me there, yet she’s smiling at every other person in there. I must point out i was the only black woman who sat at the bar. I only came in for food because I’m hungry and it’s late and this was the only place open serving food. I wanted to get something to drink while waiting on my food and the male bartender left so she was the only one serving and again she ignored me until I finally got her attention for her to just make me a coke. She did not and the other male bartender came out and asked me what I wanted and gave me the coke. Then they took forever to bring our food and it was cold. Never again just from the treatment of their staff and poor service’s. And look at that buffalo dip. It was cold and stiff. Do not I repeat do not go...
Read moreThis place is delightful. A very pleasant surprise indeed. I stopped in hoping to find a quick, quality beer and some decent bar food. What I found was the best tap list in Myrtle Beach and some of the highest quality tacos I've had on the east coast.
The atmosphere: I ordered a couple pints of beer while I waited for the food to be prepared and the service was top notch. While staff generally stayed behind them bar, they were attentive and alert. It was busy and they didn't seem overwhelmed. Great service. I only spent meaningful time at the bar top, but I peaked in the back which has a little stage and some yard games. Not sure how friendly it is for families, but I would be inclined to bring mine in the afternoon (not so much in the evening). Several TVs adorn the walls so whatever sport you want to watch should be on - though volume was muted in favor of music.
The beer: it was fresh. So many options to pick from. Plenty to try on my next visit.
The food: I took my order home and shared it with my people. Not a bad comment among them. I ordered tacos three different ways. Each order had three tacos. Tortillas were not homemade if that's your thing. The meat in each taco was spectacular and that SHOULD be your thing.
I'll be...
Read moreWe had such a great night here. We came in as a fairly large group for a party, and the bartender was amazing. She got everything out perfect but was also so kind. We ordered multiple food items and drinks, which came out fresh and quick! Macaroni bites, nachos with BBQ, brisket tacos, Buffalo dip, and my friends ordered plenty of items as well. We are so thrilled. It was a calm start, and them as the night grew, it got so extremely busy, and everyone had the best time. Giant janga, ring catch, ax games, a fire, and even an entertainer with an artist painting while they played. Inside there's connections four, music, a shuffle board, and the coolest decor. It was a phenomenal night, and we are so excited to come back. I spent so much on food that we weren't able to tip as best as we wanted, so we will be coming back on a normal night to make sure she is compensated better! Could not ask for a better place to have celebrated! Thank you for the memories and such...
