We had the pleasure of dining at Little Italy with a large group of 11 people, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We were fortunate enough to have Kim as our server, and her service truly elevated our evening. Managing a group of this size can be challenging, but Kim handled everything with ease, ensuring each of us was well taken care of throughout the night.
The Food – A Culinary Masterpiece: We practically ordered the entire menu, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. Here are some highlights:
• Appetizers: We started off with the bruschetta and calamari, and both were divine. The bruschetta was bursting with fresh tomatoes, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic, all served on crispy, perfectly toasted bread. The calamari was crispy on the outside and tender inside, cooked to perfection with a zesty marinara dipping sauce that was to die for. • Pasta Dishes: The pasta dishes were undoubtedly the stars of the night. The Fettuccine Alfredo was rich, creamy, and coated the pasta beautifully without being overly heavy. The Spaghetti Carbonara had that classic blend of salty pancetta and creamy sauce, balanced perfectly with just a hint of pepper. For those who prefer seafood, the Linguine with Clams was a standout, with plump clams and a garlic-white wine sauce that had everyone raving. • Entrees: From the Chicken Marsala to the Veal Parmesan, every bite was delightful. The Chicken Marsala was tender and the sauce was rich with a perfect balance of wine and mushroom flavors. The Veal Parmesan had a crispy, golden breading and was smothered in marinara and melty mozzarella. • Pizza: We also shared a couple of pizzas, and they were equally impressive. The crust was thin and crispy, with the right amount of chew. The Margherita Pizza was simple yet flavorful with fresh basil and mozzarella, while the Pepperoni Pizza had just the right kick from the spicy meat and perfectly melted cheese. • Desserts: We couldn’t resist the desserts either. The Tiramisu was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of espresso flavor, and the Cannolis were crisp on the outside with a creamy, sweet ricotta filling. Both were the perfect end to an incredible meal.
Service – Kim’s Exceptional Touch: Now, let me talk about the service. Kim, our server, was nothing short of amazing. Handling a large group of 11 can often lead to chaos, but Kim was calm, attentive, and incredibly organized. Drinks were refilled promptly, special requests were handled with a smile, and she made sure that every dish came out hot and fresh. What impressed us the most was how she remembered every order without missing a beat and checked in with each person to make sure they were happy.
Not only was Kim professional, but she was also warm and friendly, making us feel like we were regulars at the restaurant. Her recommendations were spot on, and she truly added a personal touch that made the night even more special. If you’re dining at Little Italy, I highly recommend asking for Kim – she made our large group experience smooth and enjoyable, and we couldn’t have asked for better service.
Atmosphere – Cozy and Inviting: The restaurant itself had a warm, cozy atmosphere that perfectly complemented the food. Despite being a busy night, the space never felt cramped, and the ambiance was lively yet comfortable. The authentic Italian decor added a lovely charm, making us feel like we had been transported straight to Italy.
Overall Experience: Little Italy is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, especially as a large group. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable (thank you, Kim!), and the entire evening was one for the books. Whether you’re coming with a large party or for an intimate dinner, you’re in for a treat.
Highly, highly recommend Little Italy – and don’t forget to ask for Kim when you go! She’ll make sure your dining experience is...

We’ve been going to this fabulous Italian restaurant for a number of years and it keeps on getting better. I’m Sicilian and was raised on homemade Italian cuisine. That and spending most of my time living and working in the NYC area I know Italian food.
This hidden gem is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s owned by a dedicated couple whose standards are unsurpassed which are also demonstrated by their staff.
The chef is one of the owners which demonstrates why the meals are consistently excellent. I’ve had just about everything they serve and have always enjoyed the meals.
Lately they’ve offered an option to their entrees, instead of being served with pasta they give you a vegetable dish. It’s not your typical vegetable medley, it’s an over the top combination of mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, thin strips of onions, with red and green peppers. They all come alive in the sauce mage with herbs and light garlic in a base of olive oil.
Little Italy’s pasta sauces are always delicious. For me why have pasta that will fill you up when you could balance your meal with this light vegetable dish and leave room for one of their delicious desserts.
The real hero was my entree which was Shrimp Carbonara. Fresh butterflied shrimp in their rich sauce.
If you want a fantastic, very reasonable priced Italian dinner Little Italy is the place to go, bring your family and friends they will leave with a smile on their faces and a delicious meal in their tummies.
Below is my original review.
We stopped in Little Italy for their gluten free pizza but were surprised to find a restaurant instead of a pizzeria. They had a wide variety pizza but their menu was very interesting and inexpensive.
My girlfriend ordered the Veal Piccata because it came with gluten free pasta. I asked Marco our waiter about a few of the dishes and he recommended the homemade lasagna.
My girlfriend had the fresh side salad and I ordered the Italian Wedding Soup. She enjoyed her salad but the soup was fantastic, seasoned just right.
The veal was tender and smothered with a delicious sauce with mushrooms. The gluten free pasta was the best my girlfriend ever had. The lasagna was over the top, actually the best I’ve had since I’ve been down here.
The service was excellent, Marco was more than accommodating and stopped by our table frequently to see if we needed anything. The servings are large enough to take some home to enjoy again. If you’re looking for a delicious Italian meal Little Italy is a...
Read moreWe had never been to Little Italy but we really wanted chicken Alfredo. Upon entering the establishment there is not a sign stating to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. Finally we caught the eye of a server and she sat us. Before we could even open the menu to see what drinks they even offered, the lady asked what we wanted. My husband with the first thing to come to mind and ordered a root beer then asked if they served beer. The waitress reported that they did and started naming off a bunch. He ordered a Budweiser. The waitress did not ask me what I wanted and walked away. She returned with both the Budweiser and the root beer and placed the beer infront of me. I am currently pregnant and cannot drink as to why my husband ordered the beer. I moved the beer and glass to him and ordered a water. Once we decided what we wanted to eat. There menu states you get soup or salad, bread, butter and a side. There are three sides at that bottom of the page. I asked the waitress what the other 2 sides were and she was unsure and stated that no one usually gets the side. So we just got salads and pasta. My husband strictly asked for no tomatos, cucumbers or onions on his salad with extra ranch. The salad arrived with tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and no extra ranch. Finally we got our pasta and we received the bread and butter 10 minutes after the pasta. The waitress never returned to ask if my husband would like another beer or maybe a water. He got inpatient and drank the rest of my water. While waiting for the server to return to get a box. We witnessed multiple families be turned away due to the fact that they have a reservation of 30 people coming in. I also witnessed a server eat from another persons bowl at a table (assuming it was his family member) but very unprofessional. For the amount of money each plate costs the service and the professionalism is not at the same level. I would not recommend anyone to go there. I wanted to tell multiple people not to waste their time or money and just go to...
