My personal experience here was fantastic. Things are rough everywhere so the place being open and having quality food was enough for a flow of thankfulness from me.
Shawarma on the beach for Spring break! It was crispy on the outside, full of meat on the inside and tons of garlic sauce aka toum. Being originally from Michigan I know my shawarma. I did miss the pickles but I could taste the freshness and the quality in the meat. We didn't even make it two blocks before finishing it up!
The prices are reasonable considering everything has gone up everywhere and what I received was quality. This is the multiverse, your mind is gonna drive everything as is your vibration.
Vibration is thoughts, words, actions, intent. I wanted to eat something healthy, so I thought where I wanted to go, took the actions and called to verify it was open and spoke my order into making. Even if updating google is easy, sometimes life happens and it is more common than not to even find big name stores randomly closed. I wanted to stop by last week and when I found it closed I made it a point to remember to call before I go next time and thankfully it was open this time!
Grateful I was able to vibrate my way to this place and find quality food to match my frequencies while visiting Myrtle Beach. There isn't much back in Colorado Springs and nothing is like home aka Michigan but thankful...
Read moreWe were looking for something halal at Myrtle Beach and unfortunately stumbled upon Shawarma’s King.
At 9:05 p.m. on a Saturday night, the place was completely deserted, which should have been a warning sign. As soon as we walked in to order takeout, I had a bad feeling it was a mistake.
We placed an order for four meals. The older gentleman at the counter who took our order was friendly and talkative, but when I asked why there were no customers on a weekend night, he simply said, “It’s off season.” While waiting, I used the men’s restroom, and the smell of urine was overwhelming — very unpleasant.
When the food arrived, the presentation looked nice, but don’t be fooled. The meat was dry, tasted old, and sauces over the food tasted weird, overall the food was just terrible. On top of that, it’s very expensive for what they have to offer, making it even more disappointing.
This was our first and definitely the last visit to...
Read moreI recently visited a restaurant that specializes in shawarma, and I must say the flavor of the shawarma was spot on. The seasoning was just right, and the chicken was tender and well-cooked. However, I was disappointed by the portion size. The shawarma was filled with far too many vegetables, making it feel more like a veggie wrap than a proper chicken shawarma. I was left wanting more of the chicken, which was barely there.
On a positive note, the man working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added a nice touch to the experience. However, I was surprised to find that there were no prices displayed on a TV or list, which I believe is required by South Carolina law. This lack of transparency made it difficult to know what I was paying for until the bill arrived.
Overall, while the flavor was good, the small chicken portion and lack of visible pricing were notable downsides to...
