I think I would have been able to love Coyote Ugly had I had the opportunity to come in. I am from Atlanta Georgia and we are down here with our travel club World Adventures/ Rovia/ Dreamtrips, so this was an opportunity to really enjoy Nashville as a whole. Upon standing in line for 5 minutes to get to the door I noticed a taller than Caucasian male wesring glasses come from upstairs and speak to the bouncer as he eyeballed my husband down. We had about two more people in front of us and the taller male turns and says to my husband you are not going to be able to get in you look too inebriated. My husband quickly explained that we had just came from Dick's where we had water and he was just standing there smoking a cigarette.while waiting in line. The guy still said well you can try but I don't think you're going to get in, so then we got to The Bouncer. The bouncer explains that he cannot come in because of his smaller backpack, which made no sense because in that case my purse was bigger than his backpack and he could have even checked the backpack or the purse before we came in however he didn't even use that as an option. I believe we were singled out because my husband looks Hispanic. Nothing was warranted for them to tell us not to come into the club we weren't screaming, yelling or acting inebriated we were standing in line. Then both men had two different reasons as to why we could not come in which made no sense... pick one or stay with the truth. I completely feel like we were discriminated against. We are grown adults this is not the first time that we've been out so we know how to conduct ourselves there was no reason for the bouncer to tell us not to come in. When I asked for the police officer standing next door he politely said that they may have been scared because of a lot of things going on in the news with immigrants right now which makes no sense to me. To me the bouncer did not have a reason to turn us away. If this is how Coyote Ugly acts two people of color and different nationalities then we should know that before we decide to spend heavy dollars in your establishment. The situation was unprofessional and...
Read moreMy aSister and brother-in-law had brought me there this past Monday for my 55th birthday, As I had driven down from New England just to see and be in the environment and I was truly disappointed they were girls that the dark hair bartender had brought up on the bar this bartender was so disrespectful no sooner is she looking away from them they ended up walking off the bar, she certainly had taken it personally due to the fact that me and my sister and brother-in-law were not even in there less than 15 minutes and decided to shut all three of us off saying that we were all intoxicated with a Shirley Temple persona we just ended up leaving. The environment was completely dead the bartenders were not interacting with the customers whatsoever not just speaking about our party but referring to other customers but instead they were talking amongst themselves the other bartender had long red hair never interacting with anyone in there. We should have known once we went down the stairs that it was going to be terribly bad due to the fact that there was nobody in your house if I could give a rating I would give it a zero never had been embarrassed my sister couldn't even taken one step of her drink my brother-in-law couldn't even finish his beer , If I ran that place I tell you one thing I would definitely get those bar tenders a training as far as interacting with customers and not amongst each bartender very very disappointed truly not worth the trip review is sincerely save your money go to the...
Read moreI really don't ever write reviews, but this place honestly takes the cake. Myself, my daughter, my finacee, and 2 of our friends decided to visit this bar from NC. We were having a great time laughing and cutting up with the lady walking the bar. She was awesome! My daughter decided to donate her bra, got up on the bar and when all that talk about flashing her tatas ensued, which was hilarious on her 28th birthday, my man decided to walk away out of respect. He walked over to where they had shirts and other items forsale, stood there and silently checked his email. When my daughter got off the bar, I walked over and told him you can come on back over now. As we started to walk back to our party at the bar, we were approached by a bouncer who rudely said "U can't go back in!" In shock we asked why, what did he do? The bouncer said because we said so, we don't need a reason, and it's private property. This was the craziest thing I've ever experienced!!! So our entire party left after only having a half of a beer. I'm guessing it was mistaken identity of some sort, but still down rite stupid!!! You kicked my man out, and we had absolutely no clue why!!! This bar never has to worry about us bringing our business back!! No matter who they thought he was, they were wrong!!! Also, just a bit of info, the bar has a horrible smell!!! There are plenty of places to go in Nashville and...
