TLDR: This place is a scam. Do not go here, they will take your money and leave you disappointed.

The long version:

We attempted to go on Saturday night this past weekend for a friend’s birthday. One of us called at 7:00 PM to confirm how long they would be open and were told 3:00 AM. Another friend called at 9:00 PM again to make sure and was also told 3:00 AM. We get everyone together (most of our group from out of town) and arrive at 11:45 PM. They tell us we can’t come in because they’re closing. We ask to speak to a manager and explain what we were told. The staff argue with each other for a bit and say they’ll get a manager, so they let us in and say we can try to play while we wait but that they’re closing soon. Manager never shows, we ask again before leaving and wait around for them again. After having us wait at the bar for 20 minutes, we’re told we can’t stay while they close and have to wait at the front desk downstairs. We go downstairs and wait for another 20-30 minutes. The manager radios and says they will be down in 2 minutes. More time goes by and we’ve now wasted so much of our night trying to talk to this elusive person in charge. It’s too late to make back up plans for our friend’s birthday. They radio back down and say to get our information and they will call us. It has been several days and we cannot get in touch with or a response from a manager, even after calling back.

Does this place have management? All staff seem to beat around the bush about it yet they all seem lost and kept saying “well that’s not my job,” The first game we tried to play while waiting took our credits and restarted, so we lost those credits They did not have all of the games advertised online The two girls working the front desk downstairs were the only ones that were kind and understanding and did not give us attitude. They also told us while waiting at the end that they had had quite a few other upset people that night We were not the only group waiting for a manager at the end of the night. Whoever said 3:00 AM blatantly lied to a lot of upset customers, who were also not local. Telling people to “come back another day” is so shady when you’re located in the biggest tourism block of the city One of our group called the next morning about lost car keys (thankfully they weren’t there or he probably wouldn’t have gotten them back) and was told to leave his information as well and a manager would reach out. No one can check lost and found and tell him if there are car keys? This was before they opened and they didn’t have a manager then he could talk to either. He still hasn’t heard back

We spent quite a bit of time and money to make this happen for our friends birthday after Ubering everyone into town and getting everyone together, and this was a sore disappointment after being told multiple times they would be open. This could have been handled so much more professionally. Don’t expect any amount of help or refunds from this place, they don’t care to even talk to...

Play Playground, a renowned entertainment venue from Las Vegas, has opened a new location in Nashville! just off Broadway. This place officially opened its doors on February 14, 2025, offering a unique blend of immersive games and vibrant nightlife.

Admission and Waivers: Guests are required to sign a waiver upon entry. Tickets can be purchased at machines located on the second floor, with options including a 3-hour unlimited play pass and a 12-game package, priced at approximately $50 and $100, respectively. I believe for most of visitors, the 12-game package is enough, because half of place is bar area so can enjoy the time with friends. Also Funds loaded onto the play card are valid for 365 days. So u do not need to use them within one day

Game Highlights: Balance and dodge (image9) Walk through a balance beam while dodging rolling barrels. The fastest time without falling achieves the highest score. Daily and overall rankings are displayed.

Follow right order(Image6): Follow order from board and prompts to kick, spin, or press buttons, etc. requiring quick coordination between mind and body. It’s a physically demanding but exhilarating activity.

Spin?(image13) Participants sit on a spinning platform, with difficulty levels increasing from sitting cross-legged to different positions. The challenge is to maintain balance as long as possible.

Ringer Run(image 7)it actually like a spy challenge, players guide a ring through obstacles without touching the metal rod. Each touching results in a score deduction, and remaining time adds to the total score.

Perfect match(image10): Teams (solo or pairs) have one minute to match patterns from a lower buckets to corresponding wall board using magnets. Speed and accuracy are key to achieving high scores.

These are more games -forget to take photos

Food and Beverage: The venue offers a variety of drinks and snacks, though prices may be slightly higher, and flavors are standard. I like the roof bar and cannot wait come back in summer time

Overall Experience: recommended for a fun-filled weekend afternoon with friends or as a corporate team-building venue. Purchasing one play card may already enough for...

So, this review is a little different because I’m not reviewing the games or the experience, because honestly didn’t get to enjoy any of it. However, I feel compelled to leave this review because. I genuinely appreciate how professional and genuine the staff at the door was. I was dealing with a partner who was having a tough day celebrating her birthday. We ran into issues at the door with people in her party, and rather respond with patience and understanding the problem escalated due to the temperament of those in my party. I was late to arrive, so by time I was there tempers had flared and my partner was upset. I stopped to talk to the gentleman at the door, I believe his name is Cooke, I want to make sure to shout him out. He explained to me the whole situation, and listened when I explained ours. Those in my party were rude, and obviously they had every reason to not let us in. But after I gave him context, he heard me out. They could’ve stood on not standing for disrespect and not hear me out. But they saw past the ego and were willing to see the humanity in our situation. A bf trying to find peace and resolution to a difficult situation. They helped me out and allowed us to enter. We weren’t able to play because emotions in party were too high and ended up choosing to leave. But I have a great appreciation for them, while leaving Cooke mentioned they love to see people play and that is always their goal! And I see that! They live their mission and I root for businesses like this. I thank them! Would recommend...

This place was very disappointing, it looks so much fun on the advertisements but its nothing like how its advertised!! It’s advertised to look big, roomy and like there’s a lot of different things to do but it’s not! There are about 8 games to play in this small hallway of a room. I don't know how they expect large amounts of people to play games with barely any room to just turn around. When we went on friday 03/21 a lot of people were there and they ended up leaving because they complained how it was too small, no room and too many people. They really need a capacity limit. If you do go I prefer you go when it’s not so busy, which is most likely during the day. The place was so bad we asked for our money back from the manger within the first 20 minutes of being there but they told us there are no refunds. Not only was the place disappointing but the bartender was extremely rude for no reason, kept acting like he didn’t want to serve anyone, like hello buddy THAT’S YOUR JOB! He had a sarcastic attitude and rude demeanor, why?? We don’t know we just wanted our drinks. Altogether this place was not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go. The only bright side to this places was we did manage to take some great pictures and everyone besides the bartender was extremely nice but Daves and buster’s would’ve been a better options honestly!
