I went there last week and it was an unbelievable experience. It was my first time at any Brazilian Steakhouse and Rodizio Grill delivered upto the hype.
I was there with two friends around 3pm (late lunch for us), so the place was almost empty. Our server came immediately and explained to us how it works (since I have never been to that place before).
We started off with "appetizers". I was blown away by how lavish it was. There were so many delicious choices to choose from. The following are what I can remember now: eggs, air fried fries, croutons, beans, olives, assorted cheese, fruits, mac n cheese, rice, bread, butter and so much more (so much good food so little stomach room). While we were enjoying the food we got from the buffet, the meat started coming. Since there weren't a lot of other customers, they were very attentive to us and kept coming to our table to ask us what we needed.
The chicken, steak and top loin were mouthwatering to see when sliced and tasted even better. The bottom loin, pork, fish (I don't remember what kind it was), mutton (also don't remember which part of the sheep it came from) were mediocre, probably because my palate standards were raised by the other meat. They also have this really good hot sauce whose name I forgot but really complimented the meat but it might be too spicy if you are not careful.
Like this wasn't enough, they have about 7 types of desserts to choose from. They bring a trolly with the desserts on them so you can see what exactly you will be getting. I don't know for which dessert but when you order one, it comes with a March Band and is really cool. Though we didn't order that one the people sitting next table did and we got to see the show.
Though it was practically empty when we got in there, it eventually filled up as it approached dinner time.
The servers were very nice and tirelessly explained which part of the meat we were eating and the food was incredibly good. So good that I didn't have time to take pictures or video (except the one I took before I started eating, better luck next time). For any fellow carnivore, this place is a heaven and highly recommend it and will definitely go...
Read moreIf I could describe this restaurant in one word it would be "Amazing." The restaurant gives off a classy vibe from the moment you walk in. Everyone was super friendly from the hosts, to the bartender, to the waiter, and even the gauchos serving the meats. The price may sound steep to some but it is worth every penny. The side bar is massive with more options than you could possibly imagine and it is just as delicious as the main attraction, the meats. At first I thought they were cutting us a bit short when slicing the meat off onto our plates but that was before I realized how many options there were and how quickly the meats come around to your table. There are several types of steak and even multiple seasonings for the same cut floating around all the time. My absolute favorite was the garlic roasted sirloin. I could eat it every day. I recommend trying a small bite of everything at least once and then once you figure out your favorite items ask them for more than one slice next time around. The glazed pineapple was another favorite among people at our table. By the end when everyone was stuffed we were still somehow finding a way to squeeze a little more of that in because it was so good. I believe most, if not all, of the meats served are gluten free and there are plenty of options, all clearly labeled, at the side bar to keep someone with celiac disease from feeling like they're missing out. This is by far the best Brazilian style restaurant I have eaten at and next time I'm in Nashville it will be the first place I go...
Read moreI went to Rodizio's for the first time yesterday with my husband and two friends. It was fantastic. Once we were seated, we were immediately greeted by our server Mackenzie who explained how everything worked and took our drink orders.
The salad bar was great. It had all of the normal salad fixings on the cold side and enough options to make an entire meal on the hot side. There was pasta, two types of rice (the wild rice was delicious) and even a stew of some sort that I did not try. By the time I got back to the table, my drink was there waiting and the first gaucho was headed towards us with meat.
Every piece of meat that came out was incredibly tasty. Even the fish and I don't normally go for seafood of any kind. At first I was skeptical of the small slivers of meat that they cut but then the guys just kept on coming and I realized the small slivers are the way to go. Not only does it help you pace yourself for trying everything but I imagine it also helps to limit the amount of food people waste by taking more than they can eat. I read some reviews that complained of the portions. I don't understand why anyone would complain when the guys come by your table over and over until you tell them to stop. The gaucho's themselves were all great and joked around with us whenever they were at the table.
Overall, it was a great experience. The server even offered a military discount when I gave her my USAA card. Well worth the $36.99 per person. We left incredibly full and satisfied. And will...
