Honky Tonk Central — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I absolutely love the Honkey Tonk, great music, great atmosphere. My experience this past weekend was amazing as always until it came to me closing my tab. My bill was $350 and I was with 3 other friends so I didn't think anything of it when I signed. I found when I got home 2 of my 3 friends only got one drink on my tab. That would mean that $320 was spent between two people which seems impossible, coming out to over 30 drinks total between two people (Beer and wells drinks). One of my friends got offered a drink, when she went to the bar, the gentleman paying for her drink ordered the two drinks and the bartender automatically threw out my last name to put it on my tab even though HE was supposed to be buying the drinks and WE were not with them. I opened my tab when it was only us 4 girls and the group of guys who were with us at our table showed up later. I don't know why the bartender had the audacity to throw my name around which most likely lead to getting drinks put on my tab that should not have been. This was a Sunday night and I needed to drop my friends off at the airport on Monday. I tried calling the Honkey Tonk numerous times from the time they opened early morning till the evening. No answer, no voicemail. I am just disappointed. That bartender is unprofessional and should not be allowed to work there. There were no signs or reasons for her to put these random guys drinks on my tab. We went to the Honkey Tonk the night before on Saturday and our tab was only $200 with all girls ordering drinks. Something is not adding up and I caution you to watch your tabs when attending nights out at this bar so the same thing doesn't...

Started our crazy day off at Honky Tonk Central for lunch. The band was decent for 12pm and the atmosphere was low key and fun. Lots of bachelorette parties. We were a group of 3 and ordered 2 rounds of drinks and some food - a cheeseburger, chicken fingers and egg rolls. Food was decent bar food and the fries that came with the chicken fingers and burger were ample. But the drinks were disappointingly served in small, clear, plastic cups and overflowing with ice, for the whopping $14 each we were charged. I found the service to be a bit lacking, almost like we were annoying our waitress anytime we asked for something. She was slow to respond and was more interested in chatting with the bartender than waiting our table. What really grinds me though, is that I signed my slip and left a tip and totaled it all up - but when I got the charge on my credit card, someone had ADDED an extra $10 to the total! I know this for sure because I take pictures of all my receipts in addition to keeping physical copies. It wasn't a bad tip, but I guess she thought she deserved more. I can only imagine the amount of people that they are skimming money from in this way and it makes the steam come out of my ears. I went Nashville on Broadway for the first time for my BD and I experienced the worst treatment. Mind you I'm from Georgia so I'm used to people stereotyping black people. So I realize that they don't check people's bags to get in into the bars, however most of the bars that I went to make sure they checked mines while skipping all the other white girls in front of me to go in. Whats even funny is that most of those girls has cocaine in their bags!!!! But my bag was full of lipsticks and cards is a concern to them. So in this video, I asked that white gentleman that's talking to the cop very politely.why are you checking my bags but skipped one my Friend and multiple other white girls in front of me. He got very upset start yelling saying do you have a problem with the policy? I politely said no, simple as that because I understood in a place like this I'm outnumbered. That was not enough for him. He went to the cop and was like kick her out. Mind you I did not yell I did not say nothing but a simple question. But still made sure I was kicked out. If you are people of color or other ethnicity, this is not a place for you… You will not feel welcomed. Don’t even waste Your money and water...
