Simply amazing! I have loved Patsy Cline since I was a little girl and have visited her old home and her grave in Winchester, VA. When we visited Nashville, I was so happy we had time for this. I love that it is a self guided thing so you can take as long as you like with the man displays, photos and videos. There were so many unseen outfits, photos, etc. Be sure to go in and check out the little video they play as it has some great footage of her. Sweet Dreams play on a tv near the movie display and you can see her actual living room and dining room. The gift shop features some great merch for reasonable prices. I was able to get a great photo of Patsy and a DVD of a documentary signed by her daughter Julie who had visited the week prior. And shout out to the guy in the gift shop who also sells the entry tickets. He gave some great tidbits and was super friendly as well. I'm so glad we went here and even though I've seen it all, I would definitely return if I'm ever in Nashville again because I'm...
Read moreOn Sun 9/24/23 we visited the Patsy Cline Museum which is upstairs from the Johnny Cash Museum. NOTE: two separate admissions. Seniors are $23.ea. This was a must stop for my bride, a lifelong Patsy fan, on her first trip to Nashville. When we entered the Johnny Cash Museum on the street level, it was mobbed with people elbowing their way into multiple admission lines. A friendly employee directed us to the staircase and elevator for the 2nd floor. Only four other people were here. Friendly staff person gave us a brief overview, tickets, & brochure. This is about a one hour visit, 90 minutes if you read everything. Very nicely laid out showing home life & show life. Patsy's music was playing on a long loop at the perfect volume to enjoy will walking through the exhibits. An interesting experience at a fair price. Also lots of opportunities for photos in the museum. Also there is a small gift shop. Nick & Liz,...
Read moreHad a great visit again at the Patsy Cline Museum last Friday. The museum was one of my main reasons for returning to Nashville. I went for my 29th birthday last March just as the pandemic broke out. Tickets were only like $12.99 or $12.00 then, but now like everything else they were high. Worth the extra money. A lot of Patsy's personal items are on display including the watch that was found at the crash site. You can definitely sense who Patsy was as a person after visiting the museum.
I could spend hours and hours. I felt really close to Patsy there and part of me never wanted to leave. Everything you could possibly want to see regarding the beloved singer is there. Stop in and enjoy the memories that will last forever!!! Patsy Cline was a gift to everyone who knew her. Even after her death her spirit lingers on. Thank you ,Patsy, and thanks to her family for keeping her...
