Buy the boots you want to wear while you're in Nashville at Betty Boots. Okay, service and selection get 5 and 4 stars respectively. If you're looking for a pair of boots to wear TONIGHT, this is your place ladies. Everyone there is very helpful, it's not so jammed up that you can't breathe and they have the latest styles (yes, boot companies release new styles almost monthly). The staff really seem to want to help and that's great. You can walk out of there in your new boots and you'll have, well, paid about what you should for the bonus of wearing them now. On price, 3 stars... If you're leaving Nashville tomorrow or don't plan to wear the boots until you're home, save yourself some money. The price on the boxes is inflated by about 50% from the manufacturer's price (yes, you can buy boots online from the manufacturer) so when they cut the price by 30%, you're still paying more than you would if you bought them online. That's not to say that you're not getting a good deal if you're wearing them out of the store - YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD DEAL! You're just paying a little premium for the pleasure of wearing them now. I saw an amazing pair of Old Gringo's and tried them on. I wanted them but they were priced at $750 less 30%. We had a dinner reservation so my sister and I put them on hold - and while we waited for our appetizers, I wanted to show and tell with the rest of the table - and that's when I noticed the price difference. We were leaving the next day and probably going back to the hotel pretty much after dinner so I passed on the boots here - and ordered them online instead. I wasn't going to wear them right away - and I could have them in less than a week. I'm not saying don't buy your boots here - all the stores downtown likely inflate their prices because most of us don't know what they should cost. I'm saying "buy the boots you want to wear while you're in...

I stopped into this store on April 12th while visiting Nashville. They had a few uniquely cute items in their window display that caught my eye. I picked up a trucker hat and was immediately told the hats were all 30% off, which sounded great. I looked at a few other items in the store and noticed they were ridiculously priced and noticed they were (as high as luxury designer clothing, which nothing in there was even close to). A t-shirt was $500 and a bomber jacket was $1500. Crazy right?
I walked to the register to simply check out my trucker hat and asked the sales associate how much the hat was. She immediately said “$40” and that there would be a 30% discount off of that price. I said “ok, I’ll buy it”. As soon as I said that she grabs the hat from me and goes back to the shelf where I found it and acts as if she’s looking for the tag. She then says “oh, the Cowboy Cool hat as are higher so this one is $60 and you’ll receive a 30% discount off of that price. I was skeptical of that entire exchange and felt like she was lying, but I really liked the hat and was in a hurry to check out so I could get on the road back home.
Once home, I decided to look online to see what the actual cost of the hat was and saw that it was on the Cowboy Cool website for only $25!!!
The NERVE of this store taking advantage of tourists in such predatory fashion. I only wish I would’ve had time to read the reviews on this company as there have been SEVERAL customers who’ve reported this exact same experience.

Read moreI attended the Betty Boots store in Nashville on 29 May, and thought I hit jackpot! I found the boots I had been chasing for 6 months.
I tried them on and they were great- but Corral boots can often differ slightly between pairs, so I decided to look at a second pair in the box to be sure I was happy with the ones I purchased.
I decided to stick with the ones I had tried on, a size 8. The sales assistant helped me in packing both pairs up and took the boots to the register while I put my shoes back on.
The box said size 8, so I left the store happy. I didn’t wear them in Nashville as boots normally need wearing in. I get all the way home to Australia to find that I’ve been given a size 8.5 in a size 8 box!
I have tried to reach out to the store to see if this can be rectified and the store has read my messages and chosen not to respond.
I would be incredibly cautious buying from this store and check everything twice! I was traveling with a group of over 100 people and will be sure to warn everyone I know against purchasing from this business. I have now wasted over $600 AUD on these boots...
