We saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and we knew we were coming to Tennessee, so we figured we'd try it. When we got there, being from out of state, it was hard figuring out where to park. And yes, there was a review that mentioned the homeless, and they are right around the corner. It took time to find where to park and then where we could park, we had to pay for it so I wanted to make sure it was worth it.

I checked to see if they had an online menu, and they did. We looked at the menu and the prices. One taco for $3, and it only came it onions and cilantro? Yes, authentic, but a lot. We considered the bowl, but we didn't know what all came in the grilled veggies, and we wanted more options. So as not to drive off with regrets, we just got two chicken tacos and ordered online. You can see from outside that the location is small, and once inside, it's pretty much where they cook and you order. There is another add-on out back where you can sit and eat.

Got the food, very light container. If you have not had street tacos before, they are the little baby taco shells, and 4 or so inches wide. That's what we got. Two filled with chicken and very little onion and cilantro. It was gone very quickly. What we had was ok. Would I go back, no. Would I recommend for people looking for a real meal, no. If you just want a...

NEW FAVORITE TACO PLACE !! Seriously so flavorful and incredibly filling ! I am pescatarian , but I NEVER like catfish , so I was definitely skeptical and only got one , but wow that was incredible !!! Should have gotten more ! I also got the tofu bowl , which I loved the flavor of , but I’m a texture person so I will get it in a taco form next time or add lettuce if that’s possible bc the flavor was AMAZING … and it’s easily made vegan !! The taco shells didn’t break despite being piled SUPER tall with fish, cilantro, and pickled onions which was amazing ! Really seriously get the fish taco even if you aren’t a fan of catfish — it’s life changing

I could not be more excited to have a new place for solid affordable to-go options ! Oh and free EASY parking !! The seating there is really cute (it’s a lot bigger and brighter than you’d think) but I live super close so I didn’t stay to eat but wow 10/10 !

TLDR : delicious flavorful lunch under $10!?! With free & easy parking?!? In Nashville!?! It’s like magic! I’ll be...

Solid spot for authentic tacos and soapapillas.

Food I tried every street taco and the Nashville hot chicken and fish taco as well as the green rice and the desserts. Overall I think the food is solid. I agree that it's authentic except for the Nash tacos. The meat is well made and juicy - large portions on the tacos. I will say this is a preference thing but I thought it was too much meat on the tacos which can make it dry when eating it especially since it's on a small tortilla. I think the birria tasted good but once again personal preference I like my birria tortillas to more cooked on the outside and less wet/floppy. Aside from that the tacos and birria taste good!

Service The staff is welcoming and polite. All smiles when you walk inside. Went during lunch time and it wasn't much of a wait. They don't take long to call you up for your food.

Ambiance there is an inside seating area that's cold and feels good if it's really hot out. I like the patio/deck area. Very normal place to...

Found this restaurant through social media and saw it was on guy fieri’s show. We visited during our trip to Nashville from VA and it was 10/10, absolutely would go back again and again if I could. Cost was fantastic I felt like it was a great deal, which is rare when eating out nowadays. My husband and I each got three tacos, shared the chips and queso, and also shared the sopapillas. We tried the chorizo, steak, Nashville hot chicken, Al pastor, and chicken tacos. Each one had unique, well balanced flavor and we tried putting queso on some which I highly recommend! Chips were nice and fresh, sopapillas were light and the honey was flavorful and a good follow up after the tacos. Service was friendly and quick, also rare nowadays. We had good weather so ate outside on their back deck. If I was anywhere passing by I would absolutely take a detour and come by again. Can’t say enough good things, but if you’re visiting Nashville this is a MUST to try!

Located on Ewing Avenue near City Winery and The Cannery, Pie Town Tacos has several options of authentic street tacos. You have several choices of meat which are served on mini corn tortillas with onions, cilantro, and limes. I had the carne asada tacos. The other person on this order had the fish taco and chicken taco. They were delicious. We also ordered the chips and queso. The queso was very flavorful and the chips were light and crispy. You place your order at the counter, and they bring your food to you. There is a small building that you walk out of the main restaurant to enter the seating area they also have outside seating at the back of the place. There is parking beside the restaurant that you scan the QR code and pay. It was around $6.50 for an hour of parking.
