This was hands down my worst experience in the large city of Nashville. I don't even have a close second in mind at this time. The food was great, I enjoyed my Messi Burger even if I almost choked on a few bites after my cup ran completely dry. I arrived after some of our group had already been seated. We were not a large group, only taking up one booth table. I never met our actual waiter until the check arrived quite awhile after being seated. I admit I had just drove several hours after just leaving work to have dinner with my son and daughter in-law for all our first time at the Hard Rock Cafe. After finding a parking spot and walking several blocks thru some large crowds which I did not mind at all. I mean I finally was going to sit down and eat at the Hard Rock, it was to be a small personal reward for myself. After placing our orders I received my one and only glass of tea. They were brought to our table by another waitress that was taking care of several nearby tables. It was a short wait for our food to arrive. Hot, fresh and delicious until everyone's straws began to make that ridiculous sound that no one actually expects to hear while seated inside a restaurant. The wait staff seemed to find joy in looking towards our table and giggling with each other but never attempted to make the short stroll over to check with us. I found out after we had finally stopped enough waiters and waitresses passing by us so we could get to go plates for our leftovers, unfortunately we never found the proper way to receive another drink to wash down the great Messi burger I had just eaten. I met our actual waiter as he stood over our table and asked how to split the bill. He seemed well rested and ptoperly hydrated at that time. It was a good bit later before I received the one check I requested at our original meeting. I thought it may be normal here or maybe they are packed in the other areas of the restaurant. But as my son pointed out this was the least busy they had ever seen it. So I am unsure of why we were served and then forgotten. Feed but not waited on or any other way of saying left alone to figure it out for ourselves. But I enjoyed my burger greatly. Which I am delighted about because I won't ever be entering this business again. After walking blocks, paying over $40 to park and working my way thru large crowds of almost drunk people I must say it was very disappointing to be treated and ignored in such a way. I looked forward to my first trip to this business for weeks so maybe I expected to much. I never expected this trip to be my last as well but it is what it was made to be. No other table I saw was left without service or repeated visits from staff to check on them. I was not dressed as nicely as I would have liked and my son along with his wife had also just left work right before we arrived. That's the only reason that doesn't make me completely angry about spending close to $300 on a great tasting meal that was also the worst trip I've had to a restaurant as far back as I can recall. So my advice is doordash or get it to go. The food was great but the service or lack of, will completely ruin any chance of enjoying eating in this restaurant. I have never gotten up from a table since I've reached adulthood without leaving atleast 15% gratuity on the check. It bothered me for a few days after for some reason but I got over it. Thanks for completely and what appeared to be so smoothly ruining our first and last trip to the Hard rock Cafe. I with grab a bite from some mobile bar next time I...
Read moreI have never had such a horrible experience. I am 47 years old, and the police were called on me. I got separated from my person and thought it was best to stop and wait. I was ID to go inside the building. I asked to sit at the bar so I could watch and wait for my person. I am deaf and trying to communicate via text and calling on the phone. I went ahead and ordered something to drink and eat while I waited for my person to locate me. Communication was difficult. I asked the bartender if it was OK if I stepped outside to check and to try talking again. It was just as loud as it was outside as it was inside. Frustrated, I went back inside but before I approached the door some young man told me I couldn't go in. I said yes, I have food and was pointing at the bar as it was already served and waiting for me. The man followed me inside and sat about a bar seat away from me. I don't have a clue who he is or what his issue is. The next thing I knew while I was eating, the police came inside. They stood beside and asked me to stand up. Why? They said, "You know why." I don't have a clue what is going on. They forced me to close my bill. I didn't even get to finish my meal. I walked outside with the officers, and they still didn't explain what I did. I left the officers and the area. It's absolutely unreal. I have never been so humiliated and embarrassed in my life.
To respond to the own comments: To start with what happened to me was on Saturday June 21st at 12:30 am. I just finished my traveling to make my reviews yesterday. There was no one at the bar when I came in. Eww!! My shoes stay on. I would never take shoes off in public as dirty as Nashville streets are. I was at the bar trying to talk to my person via phone and couldn't not hear. It was lound inside, so I walked outside and tried to talk via phone again. It was just as loud. There was no reason for your staff to approach me. There is no reason for the police to be called. When speaking with the police he would have said something to me about shoes. So obviously, you have me confused with someone else. Let me teach you something about customer service. For whatever your staff think I did wrong. I first should have been approached and asked if everything was OK. There, you would have learned I was lost and needed help. Communication is the key. Your staff calling the police was absolutely uncalled for. The police couldn't even give an explanation. I walked away from him and continued to be lost and trying to...
Read moreWe make a point of visiting Hard Rock Cafes whenever we travel close enough, so we've been to several of them now. This was our first visit to the Nashville location. This was pretty good. The live entertainment they had tonight wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible either. That's always hit or miss, so I wouldn't consider that much of an impact to my overall rating. We had six in our party, and for the most part everyone found something they liked.
I ordered the Impossible Burger, modified slightly to be dairy-free. I thought it was good but not great. My wife got the Impossible Burger the way it normally comes. She thought they put a little too much cheese on it. Both came out cold and a little dry and bland.
Our 9-year-old daughter ordered the Mac and cheese. She thought it was really good. I didn't get much of a pulse on the rest of our party, but they seemed to enjoy what they got for the most part.
So those were the negatives, and the rest were positives. I typically order sparkling water with limes at most places, and our server was excellent with this, in that she got me six lime wedges right from the get go, a perfect amount for two drinks. The atmosphere was a little cozier than some of the other ones we've been to, and the collection of musical artifacts is just as fun as the other locations to look through. They have this tiny little gift shop in the restaurant, which I thought was a disappointment until I realized that the actual gift shop is in a small building across the parking lot, and it had a nice assortment of merchandise.
Parking I'm on the fence about. I hate paying to park in the lot of the place I'm already patronizing, but I do like the convenience of valet parking. For us it was $15. I'd consider...
