Rented this property through Airbnb for a bachelor party. We were not made aware ahead of time that the extra bed was broken, and we were cutting it close on occupants as is. We were given an air mattress to use instead but were not offered any kind of partial compensation or complementary services in exchange. There are also non-alcoholic beverages provided in the refrigerator, but be careful, as we were not made aware that these were separate charges (later we found a small sign on the counter in a snack bin detailing all of these prices)...this should have been made more clear and suggest you place a sign on the refrigerator as well. Additional charges include early check in ($100) and toiletries you may need that you forgot to pack (toothbrush/toothpaste) and are provided by the hotel. Most places at which I have stayed, particularly at this price point, provide this to you for free. It was also very loud at night, as the entire living space is poorly insulated from the noise of the Coyote Ugly club downstairs and traffic from the surrounding streets. We were also not notified that we would be receiving impromptu visits from the hotel management and staff throughout our stay and had no option to place a do not disturb sign on the door to avoid this. Additionally, while the place was mostly clean, after a few hours of walking around barefoot, it became painfully apparent that the floor was FILTHY (me feet were black). Lastly, we did have a couple of rule violations on the first of the 3 days we stayed. While I do understand and respect that rules are rules, the hotel staff came in to talk to us and threatened to kick us out immediately, with no warning (they also attempted to spin it as if they had spoken to us more than once...which was not the case). Again, considering the occasion and the price point, the reaction seemed overly harsh. We did not violate any additional rules during the remainder of our stay. Overall, I would say, very good location, rooftop deck and generally clean, but at this price point, WAY too many rules, and too few amenities and accommodations; especially in a city with so...

The good: Room is large and has a frig and sink. Bathrooms are modern with good water pressure. Bed was very comfortable, and has 4 decent pillows. Location is great. Back of building is to the river & the Titans stadium, one block from Broadway, yet quiet when you get inside. The Sky Deck overlooks the river with decent sofas, and no noise from Broadway -- they will need to keep an eye on the cushion wear and tear. A guest laundry closet, with one machine, extra towels, shampoo, etc.
The strange: Most rooms do not have a window. It means the rooms are quiet even though the chaos of Broadway is right out the door. But no windows means you have no idea if it's raining or sunny. They should have a "channel" on the TV that is a closed-circuit from a rooftop camera, or similar. There are almost no employees. There are a handful of housekeepers, one concierge until 5pm, one security person starting at 10ish. It is very, very quiet in the halls. This building is the line between the still destroyed block from the 2020 Christmas bombing. The rest of the buildings to the left still have boarded up windows and the street is closed.
The bad: The HVAC system was crazy loud, and the fan only had one setting on/off. When on, the sheets on the bed blew in the powerful fan breeze. Huge room, but just one chair, a desk chair. So someone had to sit on the bed. Just two bath towels. Thin walls (or maybe the connecting door), but we could hear the entire conversation from next door, and later, the nookie noises. No parking. The garage across the street was $40 per day, but if you wanted in/out privileges, it was $63 per day. I had been led to believe by the website that it was $26 including in/out privileges.
Summary -- it was "ok", and could be great, although fixing the HVAC will...
Read moreVery unclear where the hotel was when I arrived. Upon entering the elevator I had to take a guess (some signage on what floor would be helpful!)The SKYDECK is beautiful; but, nobody was ever there! I stayed here for 5 days and didn’t see a single soul! Day or night. No other hotel guests, no staff, nothing. This has potential as it is an incredible view of the river/Nissan stadium. Definitely a plus if they could get people..I figured the fridge beverages weren’t free; but, the hotel staff neglected to provide me a price until the 4th day (of my 5 day stay). They just charge you, rather than sending over a formal invoice. Did they assume a number? I needed the invoice so I could expense it for my trip and was never provided it. I never received an email for additional charges; I was just charged (my phone alerts me of all CC charges to my cards). What I found absolutely shocking was the staff THREW OUT MY CLOTHES! It is typical to put used clothes in a dirty bag (I always do it so I can delineate my clean from dirty). I keep this bag next to my suitcase (naturally). I came back after being out for the night and couldn’t find my dirty clothes. Did a deep search the next morning and still couldn’t find it. I left a note on my bed that asked the housecleaning staff to return my clothes. Came back after work at 4:30 and my room still wasn’t clean. Sent the staff an email got a call and after denying my room had no trash; they found my nice bag of dirty clothes (workout/nice oxford shirts) in their main trash pile. HOW WOULD ONE THINK THAT OXFORD SHIRTS ARE GARBAGE?!?!?!?I only didn’t give this 1 star because the location is great and the manager is very responsive. I was very disappointed with this stay; it’s a chic setup in a phenomenal location...but the staff runs it...
