Find the red phone booth and you have located the coolest place in town. Step back in time to a 1920âs prohibition speakeasy experience with a modern twist. Now the secret phone number is needed to get in so you either need to get it from someone who is a member or track it down from one of the hotel concierges, but it is so worth finding.
The ambiance is definitely high class. The ceilings were hand painted allowing the perfect amount of light through to create dimly lit rooms and an intimate experience. The hardwood floors are reclaimed from a Civil War era tobacco barn and the exposed brick walls give that rustic chic feeling throughout. The custom made leather couches are super comfortable and arranged in the European style seating. The artwork on the walls complements the decor and adds to the upscale classy feel.
Their master mixologists can recommend a drink or look through the extensive drink menu and find that prescription just for you. Only the freshest ingredients are used in every drink and as Rule #1 states - âTry something new, we wonât disappoint.â I ordered the Floradora and loved it! Definitely try something new as Rule #8 has you covered - âIf you donât love your drink let us know and we will prepare one you do!â Either way the drink menu is creative and offers many classics too.
The Red Phone Booth is a cigar lounge too and cigar enthusiasts can enjoy a wide variety of blends. As long as you are at the Red Phone Booth enjoying a few drinks you must order a pizza. This is now my vote for the best Neapolitan style pizza in Nashville, seriously! They also offer small plates and the food is just as delicious and fresh as the hand crafted cocktails.
Overall a wonderful experience and definitely worth getting the annual membership. As a note if you do get the membership, they have an app that allows you to reserve couch time as a nice perk. The Red Phone Booth is a great place for a date night or an impressive place to bring business clients. There is even a room in the back available to rent for private events.

Read moreA very cool speakeasy and destination for those who want to sip whiskey and smoke cigars. I am not a cigar guy, and my group is not either. We showed up for the whiskey and the atmosphere.
đ unfortunately the customer service wasnât very friendly. Our server was incredible! Meg was full of energy and was very good. Unfortunately, from the beginning the attitude of the host who brought us in, to the bar tender, lack any type of excitement for those who were first time visitors. They almost acted as if they were too good for the customer and had little patience for those walking around to check out the place.
đ„ The selection was very extensive. However, the menu wasnât current and the more allocated pours were priced at secondary market value. Even the local distillery pours were pushing $20 / pour.
We ordered the smoked old fashioned, specialty cocktails and best whiskey pours. The old fashioned was extremely smoky and probably didnât need to be smoke so intensely.
đ§ the food was fine, we ordered some appetizers (charcuterie and meatball sliders). For the price it probably should have been more or at least with a party of 4 meatball sliders we could have been offered a 4th for a couple bucks more.
đ¶ Overall, it was one of the most unique experiences. The vibe was good, the music didnât reflect a speakeasy; honestly it was a mix of many differ genres and a little confusing. When you arrive right away itâs not as smoky as an hour into being open.
Like I mentioned before though, if you enjoy smoking a cigar and sipping whiskey this is your place. If you donât, a quick stop to see the location is worth having a sip of something and then moving on for dinner somewhere else.

Read moreI feel compelled to write this review, to help first time visitors to Nashville who have high expectations of this experience. My husband is an avid cigar smoker, so naturally Red Phone Booth was recommended to us. Beyond the allure of the âsecret codeâ phone booth at the front, this place is underwhelming and overhyped. When we arrived the phone booth which requires the secret code was unfortunately broken - which really is the most âfunâ part of this place. When we calledh the number provided to us, the gentleman who greeted us was beyond rude. We were welcomed with a âwho is the person calling!?â as there were several parties waiting outside and phoning that number. The fact that your phone booth isnât working isnât the fault of your customers - as an establishment, the onus is on you to figure out how to let people in appropriately. After being relegated to the back of the establishment where no one else was seated, we waited for a significant time considering how empty the place was for a Friday night. When the server finally arrived, he informed us that we had to wait because the owner of the establishment had just arrived and he was hungry so he had to make him ârigatoniâ. Thatâs just not something you say to customers who have been waiting to be served. The filtration system is also terrible considering how empty the place is. You would expect better from a place that is dedicated to the enjoyment of cigars All in all, donât waste your time coming here. The appeal of the âsecret codeâ is not worth the experience - there are much better places to spend your time...
