Would not recommend. Many of the amenities that were promised upon moving in are slowly being removed or locked down. I was told all the amenities were free to reserve and that I would have access to all of the indoor amenities 24 hours a day. The screening room and recording room have since been locked down and require 24 hours notice to reserve or cannot be used. When using the screening room, the home theater system seems to often not work and no one seems to be able to fix it. The coffee machine is being removed. The staff tried to punish some residents by removing all access to some of the 8th floor amenities during the night time hours. Most amenities require hundreds of dollars to reserve. Their website lists discounts with local retailers but to my knowledge there is no such discount and when I messaged the manager weeks ago, no response ever came. There were supposed to be fitness classes taught in the gym, however, this has been at most 1 per week and changes often as they donāt seem to be able to keep an instructor. The fire pit was broken for multiple weeks because of a missing part.
The latch system messes up constantly and everyone in the building seems to form kinship around these common struggles.
The parking garage is very difficult to get into on nights and weekends (which is to be expected since the entrance is on Broadway). Once off Broadway, the entrance is very poorly designed and can be difficult to navigate, this is compounded by the valet staff parking cars on the wrong side of the lane. After voicing frustration from my car with the windows up, the valet attendant ran after my car for two floors to yell at me and attempt confrontation because he said I was going too fast because my tires squealed. Your tires will squeal in the parking lot regardless of speed as a coating is used on the pavement that significantly reduces traction in favor of easy cleanup.
The apartments themselves are built to look nice but not function well. I had to remove the dishwasher floor board covering as it prevented my dishwasher from fully opening. The pantry door has no stopping mechanism and is incorrectly weighted causing it to tend towards slamming into the wall when left open. The door stops are constantly falling off and must be reattached. Itās just getting to be summer and Iām finding out the air conditioning is not very strong and canāt keep up with the sun facing windows on my side. Any smart lighting for the kitchen must be installed as a switch, and the fan fixture in the bedroom cannot be added to a smart home system.
The faucets in the bathroom are inset way too far and cause splashing onto the counter every time one washes their hands. The toilet handle gets stuck once a week and must be unstuck from inside the tank. A weird oddity, but the dishwasher and microwave are difficult to turn on, they are buttons, but look like touch pads so a lot of force can be required to actually depress the button.
Thatās the bad, the good things are the location, you are right next to a great deal of fast food that makes it easy when you donāt want to cook. Broadway is right next door and itās always a fun time. The views are amazing.
Everything looks spectacular, the lobby and amenities are kept very clean. The ceilings are faux concrete and have a very nice look to them. The ceilings are 10 feet so there is plenty of overhead space. Rent is cheaper than comparable buildings (505) but seems to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI lived at the place for almost four years and unfortunately it came to a point where I couldn't wait to move. Initially the building was great, but over the years and through multiple office and management changes it became much less of an enjoyable place to live. I feel there is a level of unprofessionalism and just a lack of care (many of the employees live in the building as well). Things in the building seem to have started falling apart/failing as time has gone on and the care to fix them properly or in a timely manner just didn't seem to be there (ex. The common area I think flooded and still hasn't been fixed - I think it's been a few months). Elevators are quite possibly the worst thing about the building - I didn't realize until after I moved out how much time I was wasting on a daily basis just waiting for an elevator. I lived in a unit facing away from Broadway and noise wasn't an issue (it was actually quiet), but I have heard from many people on the other side that it is very annoying. The cost of rent seems to have decreased, I assume that is due to new apartments in Nashville (although my renewal increased even after already paying a premium). The pool and gym were nice to have. The pool will continue to have moments in the summer months where capacity is overwhelmed and many guest are allowed in. In the past, there was a bracelet policy and security guard for the pool to monitor capacity, but that seemed to dissolve and was not monitored the summer of 2024 (just wait until you see how many people stay in the pool the entire day without going to the bathroom on July 4). Living on Broadway, you have to deal with the crowd and sometimes that can run into the building (late nights equals spilled food/drinks, etc). Lastly, the dog park has its moments. I got to a point I just started taking my dog outside of the building because it became so gross at times. Many people in the building are the caliber to not properly clean up after their animals. There are also many times where people allow their animals to to use the bathroom in the parking garage and it is left uncleaned.
From my personal opinion, you can find a much nicer place to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve lived here for almost 3 years at this point. I was happy with it for the first half of my living arrangement. And then things took a turn. At first it was little things. We have recording and screening room amenities that they decided we needed to pay $75 to utilize when they were originally free to use. Then some damages went unfixed for far too long.
But then the offenses got way bigger. First, they allowed someone to come in and lease out multiple units to be used as short term rentals (a breach of contract and something the lease agreement I signed dictated was grounds for immediate termination). This has compromised the security of the building and as a female in the city has made me feel unsafe in my own home. But I had just resigned my third lease out of convenience when I found out about this so cāest la vie right?
But then the 8th floor amenities flooded. Not once, not twice, but for the THIRD time. The result is that our amenities space has been under construction for at least a third of the last year. The most recent time multiple apartments on several floors flooded as well. The management team have taken a week or longer to respond to e-mails if they respond at all. Our amenities floor is almost completely closed and has cost me income because of some individual personal training I utilize our gym for (which is closed indefinitely; they donāt have an answer as to the timeline).
I have requested compensation for the lack of amenity usage or to be able to break my lease with concessions to the contracted obligations and have been told that isnāt possible.
Do not move here. At this point if it isnāt one thing itās another and there are better places to live...
