Nashville First Baptist Church — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

This is a hard one. I used to love it here. Then a group of people ran off a great pastor and brought in a guy I will never listen to again. He immediately made a lot of changes I hate and I keep running into people who say "we quit going to the main service, we only go to Sunday school now". So a handful of people destroyed a great thing and we had no say. I can't find a church anywhere. At this point I'm looking entirely outside of my religion just for some kind of fellowship. I promised the Catholics not to nail anything to their doors. Not changing my beliefs, just the new guy is visibly...not full of the Spirit. I will be ending...

I liked the church. That being said, we seated our selves, main floor, right, by the side entrance door.We were approached immediately by a woman. I knew what was coming. I said I'm in your seat aren't I ? Her response was "I've been sitting in that seat for forever". Ok. I was raised in the Baptist church. But what IF this were my 1st ever experience with any Christians..I have never been back..I doubt a non Christian would either.. To that lady all I can say is; It's not...

My wife and I worshiped with you this morning (Jan 7th) what a wonderful experience. We felt so warmly welcomed from the very moment we entered the church building.. welcomed at the front door and direct to the Sanctuary. As we sat down many others spoke to us and then the Pastor came over asked where we were from and chatted to us in a warm and open way. The service was wonderful from the singing to the sermon - you have much to proud of at the Nashville First...
