Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I loved Salsarita’s in Oxford MS during my time there, so I was excited to see a location in Nashville. I had planned to pick up my order, but work got busy so I doordashed lunch instead. I try and give some grace with a doordash order because mistakes can happen but what I received wasn’t a mistake it was just very poorly prepared. I ordered a salad, taco bowl, pinto beans, verde salsa, corn salsa, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, olives, sour cream, and lime vinaigrette. That’s not at all what arrived. I did get a taco bowl shell, it had beans, sour cream, lettuce, and some burnt and dry tiny pieces of steak. It may have had verde salsa but it’s as it if was put on with an eye dropper because it was on maybe 2 bites in the smallest amount, I found a single onion piece, two olives, no tomatoes, no corn salsa, and no dressing. It was mostly sour cream, lettuce, beans, and the dry steak. It was not enjoyable and it was not what I ordered. I was extremely disappointed, and don’t know if I will return to...

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Salsarita’s. As an employee of Vanderbilt Hospital, a tax-exempt organization, I followed proper procedures to request a refund of sales tax that should never have been charged. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have received no resolution and only the runaround from the restaurant.

The manager, Joey, has been unresponsive and unhelpful throughout this process. Because of this lack of accountability, my job is now on the line due to a policy I am required to follow. This level of disregard for customers and for honoring tax-exempt status is unacceptable.

Salsarita's is a new (to me) regional fast-casual chain featuring tacos and burritos. If you've ever eaten at Moe's you know how this works.

I had a pretty disappointing experience for dinner at this location. The service was very slow, the burritos poorly constructed, the ingredients had clearly been sitting out for hours (and tasted like it), and when I ordered a to-go item online to bring home they hadn't even started on preparing the food despite the order showing as complete.

I'm giving three stars, which is generous, only because I'm assuming they're still working out the kinks (this place hasn't been open but a month or so).
