It was my first time at Joe’s. When we arrived, we had a difficult time checking in because we were meeting up with our friends. Our friend groups were unknowingly at two different entrances and the host at both entrances were extremely rude and unable to redirect us to the other entrance. We had a reservation and tried to check-in using the name on the reservation, but we were unable to check-in unless our entire party is present. The hosts both had earpieces and so I don’t understand why they couldn’t check with each other to help us. It took us 20mins to find each other without their help. I am obviously very upset with this experience. Hence my 2 star review.
Overall price point is very high. Expect at least $100 per person especially if you plan to order drinks.
Unlike the hosts at the front door, our waiter was very nice. He helped recommend us a lot of dishes and portion sizing for our group since we wanted to share all the dishes.
For appetizer, we got a complementary assorted bread, dozen oysters, 2 orders of large stone crab claws, tuna tartare, Caesar salad. Everything was tasty. Oysters were fresh but a bit small, but that could’ve been the type of oyster. They’re famous for their stone crab claws, and that was tasty. The stone crab comes with their house sauce. I forget what it tasted like, but the sauce was very good!
For entrees, we had hash brown, crispy Brussels sprouts, sea bass, and aged rib-eye bone in steak. They were all ok, but not worth the price in my opinion. The steak was a bit too salty. Brussels sprouts were a little burnt tasting and not crispy as the name states. Hash brown was good. Outside is crunchy and inside is soft.
I had a glass of pinot noir and my friends had some white wine. We ordered based on the server’s recommendation, and they were all really good!! Very smooth and nice flavor profile. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names.
For dessert, we ordered Boston cream cake. It was good! The sponge cake was very soft and moist. It was our friends birthday, and our server gave us a brownie with vanilla ice cream for free. Brownie with ice cream was very good. Desserts are very sweet, but they were good. A little too sweet for our Asian preference, but we enjoyed it. Sharing made the sweetness more bearable.
There were 5 of us and we split family style. Our bill was around $500+. Overall, it was an expensive experience. I probably wouldn’t go again. I felt everything is overpriced. The food was only okay. I wasn’t blown away by any of the dishes. They were all normal. Nothing too special...

The mains were the star of the show. My husband's fillet Oscar was a tender masterpiece, elevated with a rich, savory topping that balanced the steak's buttery flavor. I opted for the grilled seafood platter, which featured a perfectly cooked piece of salmon. While I’m more accustomed to my salmon being a bit more cooked, this one was a perfect medium, leaving it incredibly moist and succulent. The lobster mac and cheese we shared was a decadent side, creamy and rich with generous chunks of sweet lobster meat.
We also got to sample some of their steak offerings, and this is where the restaurant truly shines. The ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection, with a flavor that was both deep and memorable. The T-bone was a spectacular cut, hands down one of the best we’ve ever had, with a perfect sear that gave way to a juicy, flavorful interior. The one minor misstep was the crabs, which lacked the robust flavor we were hoping for. However, with steaks of this caliber, it was easy to overlook.
We capped off the night with a grand finale of four different desserts. Each one was a delicious treat, but the peach huckleberry was the undisputed champion, a perfect blend of sweet and tart that was an absolute delight.
Service and Value The service here is truly top-notch. Our waitress was impeccable and incredibly friendly, with a wonderful sense of humor that made us feel right at home. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness were consistent throughout the evening. When we experienced a small issue, the management handled it with an impressive display of class and speed, turning a potential disappointment into a testament to their professionalism.
For a restaurant located on The Strip, we were pleasantly surprised by the pricing. The menu offers a wide range of options at different price points, so you can enjoy a fantastic meal without feeling like your wallet is taking a hit. The value you get for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere is exceptional.
Final Verdict We would absolutely recommend this restaurant. It’s an ideal choice for anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience without the exorbitant price tag often associated with fine dining. It's a perfect spot for anniversaries, special occasions, or a well-deserved date night where you want to indulge in excellent food, particularly a fantastic steak, and enjoy...
Read moreVery disappointing visit for my husband and I. Travelling to Vegas to celebrate my 60th Birthday from the UK, we wanted a treat dining experience for my actual birthday evening. We booked a table at Joe’s as we had wonderful memories of dining at the Miami Joe’s. How wrong we were to assume that these restaurants would be the same! On arrival, we were taken to the back of the restaurant and given a booth that had seat pads over worn & sank to be too low for the table and eating. My husband was subjected to the view of the kitchen doors frequently opening & shutting as staff wheeled noisy trolleys in and out by us. Not romantic or remotely considerate that we were celebrating a special birthday and had notified them on the booking! Waiter service was over-kill. Lacking in any personality he gave a very wooden, rehearsed conversation manner as he towered over us squashed into the booth. We assumed the message about us celebrating hadn’t been received. We knew that the menu was heavily priced prior to booking but for the excellent food and service, we would not have worried about this. Jumbo shrimp cocktail is 4 shrimps on ice with a standard tasting tomato dip. Bisque is 3 spoonfuls & paled into insignificance compared to the yummy portion served in Miami. Every time you sip your water the waiter is leaning in to you to top it up! We considered asking him to pull a chair up and join us as he was with most of the evening. We struggled to converse due to his rattling his trolley by us or leaning in to our table to do something every few minutes. Seafood Pasta & salmon mains were very nice. Chardonnay & beer enjoyed. To our amazement the waiter arrived with a brownie & ice cream dish to acknowledge my birthday. It had a lit candle in & the waiter made some half attempt to be interested as he placed it. We couldn’t believe that knowing throughout the meal that this parting offering was all they could manage to show that they knew we were celebrating.
We sat down at 7.50pm and left after 2 courses at 8.50. The rushing was awful and put us off buying champagne and desserts. We chose to take that part of our custom elsewhere. Prices need to be reflected in service. Over $200 for an hour of fast food style service & seating; albeit tasty food, we did not feel we had dined out. And certainly decided very quickly to not splurge on any extra drinks if we were gong to be in such a flat,...
