Wynn Buffet: A Culinary Odyssey, The Pinnacle of Perfection
In the illustrious realm of Las Vegas buffets, Wynn Buffet emerges as the unrivaled number one of the century, a culinary masterpiece that transcends the ordinary and sets a standard of perfection seldom achieved. My recent dining experience at Wynn Buffet was extraordinary, earning it an unquestionable 5-star rating and a place in the annals of gastronomic history.
Flawless Service - A Symphony of Hospitality: Wynn Buffet raises the bar for service excellence to unparalleled heights. From the moment I stepped in, the flawless service provided by the attentive waitstaff transformed the dining experience into a symphony of hospitality. The waitresses' meticulous attention to detail, genuine warmth, and impeccable timing elevated the entire affair, creating an environment where perfection was not just a standard but an inherent part of the dining ethos.

Cured Prime Meats: The cured prime meats, often considered the pinnacle of carnivorous indulgence, offer a delectable and unforgettable dining experience. These meats are expertly prepared and aged to perfection, resulting in a rich, intense, savory, and tender flavor. The curing process carefully balances temperature, humidity, and time to achieve the desired texture and taste. Each bite of the cured prime meats is a sensory journey, with complex aromas and flavors that linger on the palate long after the meal is over. These meats are indeed a delicacy that embodies the artistry and skill of the culinary craft.
Once-in-a-Lifetime Culinary Extravaganza: The sheer magnitude of Wynn Buffet's offerings presented a delightful dilemma – a struggle to indulge in every delicacy on display. The fear of missing out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity transformed each bite into a treasure, leaving me with a culinary regret that speaks volumes about the extraordinary nature of this dining experience.
Forever Etched in Memories: The nights are marked by a poignant realization that dining at Wynn Buffet was not just a meal but an immersive journey into culinary opulence. The lament for not feasting like royalty every night is a testament to the indelible impact Wynn Buffet has left on my gastronomic soul.

Read moreI have been to a lot of the buffets in Vegas and this one is maybe my favorite.
First of all the ambience in the space is lovely. It's very beautiful, open, airy and gives nice brunch vibes if that's what you're going for. I personally went for the late lunch/ dinner service.
I paid for priority seating as well as the upgrade for the king crab and if I regret anything, I would say it would be the crab upgrade just because I do hate wasting. And that was way too much food. I'm not sure where I read how much king crab was added to the meal, but I could have sworn it was 1 lb but maybe it was 1 lb per person. It still kind of seemed like more than 3 lb but I don't know for sure. All I know is that I did like the priority seating, but when I went it wasn't that busy, and I wouldn't have had to wait that long anyway. And the crab was definitely overkill. I felt terrible leaving so much on the table. They did tell me that they have separate trash compared to food waste, so hopefully they do something with the food waste other than just throwing it away. I hope it goes to a food bank or even to a local farm for the pigs. Fingers crossed on that because I hate wasting.
But all-in-all the food was excellent. You do have to be aware there is a timer though. I'm anxious person so I was very anxious about the timer and at first I was eating kind of fast because I felt like I was not going to have enough time, but as our meal progressed, I realized it was plenty of time and I did not need to rush so much.
My favorite was the little caviar cones they had. They kind of seemed hidden back in the fruit area which would make sense with such an expensive item. The lady in front of me was so hyped she took like 6 out of 8 that had just been put out lol. I was fine taking 1 or 2 at a time personally, even though they were very small. But I do love caviar. It's such a distinct saltiness that is very delicious and if you haven't had it make your way back to the fruit area and get yourself a little cone of one.
But I would not recommend upgrading to the king crab. I thought that was a mistake on my part. Unless that's the main thing you want and you don't even care about the buffet and if that's the case why are you at a buffet lol? I thought it would be nice, you can skip the lines at the busiest food station (which is true) but the king crab they gave us was salty and mealy kind of falling apart. If I was meaner I might even take a star for that, but everything else was so good and the service was so nice. If I was truly being precise perhaps they would get 4 1/2 stars. Because that king crab was lame. Thankfully I didn't really want it so it wasn't that much of a disappointment but to spend extra on something that isn't tasty is pretty sad.
Overall, though, I thought it was a delicious buffet with a wide variety of things to try. It seemed very clean. And the service was very attentive even though I tipped her and she seemed surprised so I'm not sure if people are not tipping much or at all at buffets but you're rude, tip your server! So I guess she was doing all that even expecting no tip or a very small tip so good on her.
One of my favorites as well was also back in the fruit area, they have fresh squeezed juice. I drank so many little cups of the ube coconut, it was so delicious.
It's rare that I return to a restaurant once I have been to it. I like to review places and try new things so for me to say that I think I will be back is a big deal. But when I go to Vegas again I think I will go back to the buffet at Wynn.
Highly recommended to fans of buffets or people who just want to try some new things. Just don't order the king crab upgrade that was...
Read moreSo the snow crab legs were amazing. The other dishes with seafood were way too spicy, way too cold, way too salty, or way too bland . odd very odd.
I was so excited to see Stone crab yet they were bland and overcooked. That was so crazy because it’s such a good seafood to work with. I’ve never tasted that poorly made stone crab before, but you know what I’ve never steamed stone crab for a buffet before, so who am I to complain.
We definitely got our moneys worth, even so.
The place is just a delight and the way they presented is really good considering how many people are plowing through those mounds of food
Server left a lot to be desired trying to get a napkin from him was like trying to access Fort Knox.
I seriously would not recommend getting the alcohol package even though it sounds like a great deal. We did not buy it because we did not want to fill up on sugar drinks definitely call. I overheard people saying that they got the drinks package if you want it is around $30 I believe.
We got there I should say I got there at 5:09 PM. I didn’t want to purchase the tickets because my husband had a perm and I was paying for our personal account and when you buy online, you are required to buy two tickets. I think that makes sense. I have no problem with that. It just made it a little bit harder for me personally.
Had a great time while waiting for my husband, I made some really fun, single serving friends lol
It did take a long time to go through the non-line but like I said, I got there at 5:09 and it was fine all of a sudden though it’s 6 o’clock I guess everyone got hungry and the line got really really long so keep that in mind, try to go earlier and not later . Buddy Line said he had like 30 minutes before so like around 4:30 or so and there was no one in line so keep that in mind.
Also, if you can go back and think about Charlie from Candy mountain on YouTube from like 2012?? That is exactly what the candy shop reminds us of. Neither of us are really sweet people, but I was just delighted walking around and looking at all of those beautiful sweets. It must be like with those chocolate loving kids at the Willy Wonka factory. It was really beautiful.
It was food though, and they didn’t have any lobster tails. They have lobster claws, and a lot of them were overcooked, and it just seemed to me to be such a shame to throw away claws. Most of the claws are not the best part of the lobster anyway but I didn’t understand I mean I know there’s 10 different stations 10 different shafts controlling the locations but I mean some of these were just so salty. I couldn’t eat it with without gagging, and then other things were so bland I couldn’t believe it I had to add salt.
I had never seen such cheeses in my life. I had never heard of Gouda cheese that was black. Turns out it was colored with carbon and it wasn’t as excited after that. I cook with Car sometimes and I make spooky drinks with carbon, but I didn’t taste very good and the cheese looks cool though I think you should go out. It is more economical buffet than the buffet that I know how to pronounce at Cesar’s. That website said limit of 90 min. Wynn has two hours.
I had no idea i would need two hours...
