We stumbled into Bourbon O Bar after a few indulgent days in NOLA, and it ended up being one of our favorite stops! I ordered my very first Ramos Gin Fizz—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It took the full six minutes to shake (as it should!), and the result was absolute perfection. Creamy, citrusy, and refreshing. Needing a break from fried everything, I went for the Cobb Salad—a great call. It was packed with bacon, blue cheese, and fresh veggies, and the dressing was a delicious surprise. We also shared the cracklins with pimento cheese, which were dangerously good—crispy, savory, and paired perfectly with that creamy, cheesy dip. My husband got the shrimp po’boy, and he was impressed—it was overflowing with shrimp, just the way it should be. The sidewinder fries were crispy and addictive, though a side of ketchup would’ve taken them over the top. Great cocktails, great food, and a nice little escape from the chaos of Bourbon Street. Highly recommend!

BOURBON O BAR IS #1 bar to visit when in New Orleans! This is the only bar to taste the official alcoholic beverage of New Orleans the "SAZERAC" that is mixed with actual Absinthe, and served in a frosted chilled collins glass with fresh lemon peel! Your first sip is a Ice cold refreshing zing of the fresh lemon followed by a smooth creamy sensation and perfect shock of Absinthe! The beauitful outgoing generous owner took the time to share the history of the SAZERAC, introduced me to her 5 star badass bartenders, and won my heart with the her personal flair and touch in the decor of the bar, my favorite being the Yellow Brick Road fabulously airbrushed that leads you to the RESTROOMS!! Live Music ! AUTHENIC CRAFT COCKTAILS! ABSINTHE DRIPS!

Extremely rude staff. The female bartender was very rude and got mad because we wouldn’t buy a drink from her. We went in to the bar get out of the rain as did other people. When we told the bartender we weren’t getting drinks she got an attitude. My friend ended up buying something and when she paid me he waitress snatched her card and threw her receipt at her. We attempted to speak to a manager but they did nothing to resolve the situation, so we decided to sit and wait until the rain subsided and then we would leave, however the bartender decided to go to the door man and have us kicked for no reason my friends and I were quiet minding our business and did not cause a commotion. Other people came in to the bar to avoid the rain and were not accosted into buying a drink. When we asked to speak to a manager we were given the run around and threatened with security. Extremely...

TL DR; Overall vibe, not worth it unless you like to be harassed and and belittled.

Music - great Drinks - good Service - okay

Here's what happened

Arrived on a Sunday evening with my group of 3 to relax and enjoy some jazz music on the last night of our Nola vacation. We had been in the room for less than one minute when some big lady approached us and demanded we buy drinks. We said we would, found a table and looked at the menu. Within two minutes she came back over and harassed us saying "where are your drinks. Get them or leave". We hadn't even had time to look at what we wanted. She did this to every party that entered unless they looked rich. Then they were greeted with a smile. The only reason we didn't just leave is because the band was amazing. As a jazz musician myself, I appreciate what they are trying to do, but this place should be embarassed to sign...
