Birdy's — Restaurant in New York

I would give our experience at Birdy’s a zero if possible. We arrived and were very quickly blamed for spilling liquor on the foosball table (it was there when we arrived). The bartender aggressively moved our drinks onto a ledge, and the drinks were immediately knocked onto the floor by another patron. Upon telling the same bartender what had happened, he proceeded to blame us and his solution was to kick the shards of broken glass into the corner we were standing in. Overall a horrible experience from beginning to end and I wouldn’t recommend that anyone go here at all. Probably the worst service I’ve ever received anywhere. I just can’t believe a bartender would blame paying customers for something that literally had nothing to do with them? A very terrible and bizarre experience. Our trip to Birdy’s really ruined our night. I hope you will consider hiring decent bartenders. No customer deserves to be treated like that, especially when they have done nothing...

Been going there for years I loved the place cheap drinks some amazing bartenders but idk 🤷‍♂️ if it is because I’m black but I didn’t agree with how some bartenders would rudely make me tip every drink when I already tip you 10 dollars I also never had any problems ever with birdys it’s been a home for me I got 86 for my friend who was visiting buying a drink for two white girls whom asked for the drinks in first place for us to buy them. when we went to give it to them they already had men with them and then acted like we was bothering them I immediately went to security dispute the situation he came back and escorted me out with a baton stick in my face. As a black man the trauma is real and I’m hurt a place I spend time with friends and spend my good earned money could be treated so low in a second. I...

Not bad for a dive bar... it's one of my locals and I love the frozen whiskey sours...decent happy hours and they have pinball machines and a photo booth in back. Some of the bar tenders (fellas, the females always seem friendlier lol)seem lazy but whatever, it's a bushwick bar.my boyfriend and I saw a small cockroach on one of the side bars to sit on too once, but its NYC so whatever.. i feel the cockroach had more energy than a few of the guy bartenders haha...good people watching when you're sitting by the front entrance. I was born in 1983, and I absolutely love the music this bar plays, so nostalgic of my upbringing. I think between the music and frozen whiskey sours, this is my favorite bar in all...
