This was the BEST Thai food I've had in an extremely long time. I had the rice bowl with crispy pork belly and sautéed Chinese broccoli. My girlfriend had the tom yum fried rice with shrimp. Several notes; the crispy pork belly was cooked to perfection-- just the right amount of fat, extremely crispy skin, and a savory/umami flavor that was addictive. The tom yum fried rice was actually not on the menu but the staff and chef are so incredibly amazing and accommodating so they managed to make it happen-- all I'll say is that I'll be begging them to make it a permanent menu option. If you've ever had tom yum soup... you know that flavor is to die for. FYI the portions are HUGE so whatever you pay is worth it (we both took the rest home and had the remainder for dinner/lunch). The waitress was the kindest ever and went out of her way to ensure that we didn't have any allergies or strong dislikes before serving us. The ambience was incredible, well ventilated with such pretty decorations. All I can say is 10/10 and will be coming back...
Read moreThai Street food gem in Williamsburg! I finally found the place to eat real taste Thai food in my neighborhood. They have launch special, but we went for dinner menu. Khao Ka Nah Moo Krob is perfect: spicy crispy pork belly sauteed with Chinese broccoli top with fried egg. They make it Thai spicy so you should let them know if you want less spicy. Duck Noodle Soup is wonderfully taste normally when I eat noodle, I always add more condiment to the soup, but I don't need to add anything to this noodle. I enjoy the food so much and service is very nice and friendly. The place just opened for months so I believe as much as people know how delicious the food at this restaurant, they will be more popular and busier. I definitely, going back to try more food....
Read moreI have nothing but good things to say about BK belly. There’s a lot of competition in the neighbourhood for Thai food but I find myself coming back here for the consistently incredible food and remarkable service. I’ve tried half the menu at this point but the Kee Mao and Duck Noodle Soup are standouts (such a generous portion of duck!). It’s clear there’s so much love being put into the space and the food. They’ve recently given the interior a big facelift and rebranded, every time I come back it’s busier and busier. The staff are all lovely and attentive, your water glass will hardly get below half, which you’ll need if you order some of their spicier dishes. I love this place and I’m so happy for their recent success, it’s very...
