Read moreUNPLEASANT. Arrived early noon and there were just less than a handful of people inside. We were directed on a table for 2, ordered 5 items including our mocktail. Yes! was so hyped to try most items. We thought of switching tables because our food won't fit the table. We asked the waitress politely if we can switch. Waitress replied that its for 4 people and that what would others think if we areo ccupying a table for 4! I said our orders won't fit the table. Since she is so accomodating 😏 I just said, ok then no thank you! Then she proceeded to move the table next to us while mumbling and giving us the stare.
Our Japchae arrived first and we dived right in. The flavor was there but the noodles were soggy. Then came the boneless soy garlic chicken with a side of radishes. Chicken wasn't at all crispy and the meat inside is on the bland side. The spicy chicken bibimbap is a fail. The kimchi not fresh at all and when everything was mixed in, it wasn't that tasty. The spicy chicken tacos were ok. It was filling enough but nothing to rave about. Strawberry mojito was ok too.
To be fair, the waitress who unwillingly added another table to our table gave us napkins and made sure our orders were all given.
Overall.. won't be coming back. Had better experience from another country where I was first introduced to this yummy chicken. I was excited to find out there is one in Brooklyn where I can go to.. or so I thought. Not worth the money,...
Read moreWhile on my lunch break I decided to eat at this restaurant but unfortunately I never got a chance to taste the food. The waitress was extremely impatient, unprofessional and rude. As soon as I was seated the waitress came over ready to take my order before I could read the menu. While I am asking her about dishes on the menu, she walks away and appeared to be agitated. Then told me to call her when I am ready to order. She returned 10 minutes later with an angry look on her face. I begun to give her my order and asked her if they had salad. Her face turned red and she snatched the menu off the table, flipped it around and slammed it back on the table. She pressed her finger with force next to the salads on the menu and yelled out "salad is right here".
Customers began to stare at her because she was making a commotion. I got out of my seat and went to inform the person at the register. I requested a manager but a manager never came. I informed the lady at the register that the waitress was very irate and she slammed the menu on the table. The lady at the register was no assistance, she told me that the waitress is very busy. At that point I had enough from this restaurant and left. I ended up eating at Chipotle in Metro Tech instead.
