T.J. Maxx — Local services in New York

Today, Monday, October16th 2023, at 6 PM in the department of pants and cardigans next to the jewelry department at TJ Maxx Fulton street in Brooklyn, two associates  told me that I cannot try a Cardigan in front of the mirror. One of them, said you have to try in the fitting room, with a deep attitude, that's what the fitting room are for.  I responded "no I don't have to" She said "why?" I said, "I don't have to justify myself". And the other associate came to me and told me that "by policy I have to". I said as a long time customer, over 15 years, I know the rules, and that never happened. Went to see the coordinator Mr. F. Who took my complaint. I described the 2 ladies who were working in the pants department at that moment, one with short hair older, and one with long hair with a bun, younger. Everybody else in the store were trying clothes, but they picked me. I couldn't continue my shopping, because of the discomfort they put me in and I will probably not coming back to that Tj Maxx because of them, at least until they get rid of them. If this location wants to have more business, it probably should get rid of them and hire better customer service associate who doesn't...

Let me preface with TJ is my favorite store. This was my first & last time going to this Brooklyn location. The store was DISGUSTING, trash & dust everywhere & it smells like urine. I could barely push my cart because of all of the trash & items for sale all over the floor. The employees don't say excuse me, they just expect you to move as they charge through & bump your cart, instead of respecting the customer. I was going to purchase some makeup & wanted to open it to make sure it wasn't broken or used. Two female employees yelled, yes.. yelled & told me I wasn't able to open it (even though 98% of the makeup in their location was opened & laying there). I told her I didn't want to purchase unless I can see it because that has happened to me before where makeup had been swatched or broken. She told me to open it at home. I asked her to open the makeup & she was very snappy. Then when she did the makeup & the sponge was used, she immediately walked away without saying anything. I totally understand not wanting people to use makeup in the store, but trying to look at it before buying is a COMPLETELY different story. I will never go back to this location & you...

I had a wonderful time shopping at TJ Maxx today. I was looking for some bath products to pamper myself and I found some amazing deals. The best one was a Molton Brown set for only $40, which usually retails for $65 in Neiman Marcus or the Molton Brown boutique in the Upper East Side. The set includes a body wash and body lotion in the delicious scent of Pink Peppercorn. I love how luxurious and refreshing they smell and feel on my skin.

I also found some other great bath products that were very affordable and high quality. I got a lavender bath bomb for $2, a coconut milk soap for $3, and a rose water facial spray for $5. They all smell heavenly and make me feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I can’t wait to use them and treat myself to a spa day at home.

I am very happy with my purchases and I think I got a lot of value for my money. TJ Maxx is a great place to find quality products at discounted prices. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves shopping and...
