Their macadamia milk mochas are honestly the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot). They also serve the best classic doughnuts in the neighborhood. I have been a devoted evangelist of Brooklyn Roasting Company since they first opened in DUMBO. They first got me into grinding fresh beans and caring about how beans are roasted and drinking good coffee. I buy 3 tins every Christmas and bring to my family who demand it yearly. That is why I was really surprised when I visited this new location on Lorimer that my iced almond milk latte was totally sub-par. It was watery, the classic espresso tasted kind of burnt, and the almond milk not that creamy. Really unexpected. I honestly think this must have been a one off issue, but was super disappointed.
