I’ve been coming here for two weeks. No issues until today. Ordered two of the breakfast sandwiches which comes with turkey beacon. The sandwich’s made today were literally half the size of the previous breakfast sandwiches I’ve ordered. The sandwich was much smaller and the same price of $15.50
More important than that was the turkey beacon was actually regular pork beacon. It was greasy like regular beacon and smelled like regular pork beacon. I went back inside of Cafe Coco and spoke to the barista she asked the cook if he used turkey beacon he said “yes, it’s turkey beacon”. I showed her the beacon in the sandwich and she assured me it was turkey beacon.
I went back to my car and took a photo of the beacon. See attached for yourself. I also went to Amazon and used the image scan option on the actual beacon. All of the options Amazon gave were for Pork Beacon. I’m really disappointed. I don’t eat pork and I was served pork and then lied to about it.
Also the Americano I ordered with steamed oat milk was just a black drip coffee, no steamed oat milk. Didn’t realize that one until I was serval blocks away.
Lastly my daughter took one bite of the financier and said it tasted like the inside of the refrigerator. I took a bite she was right.
They only opened a few weeks ago, everything seemed great for the last couple weeks. Not sure what is happened there now, but unfortunately I can’t go back...

We tried the Coco Special and the Cold Foam Special (I think that’s the name) - both were really good. We also ordered the blueberry crumble muffin and the financier; the financier was a bit on the sweeter side for me, but the blueberry muffin definitely hit the spot.
The owner was there and we had a really lovely chat - super friendly and welcoming. The overall vibe was calm and relaxing, and it’s the kind of place where you can easily settle in and unwind. They also have cute outdoor seating!
If I lived nearby, I’d definitely come here often to relax, read, or get some work done. Such a...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to stop by here ever since they opened. I ordered a regular latte and a pumpkin pie latte (off menu) which they said they can make. It was mostly just a latte with pumpkin spice. If I knew it was that I wouldn’t have ordered it.
Espresso tasted very burnt. They most likely need to clean out their espresso machine. We went around 2:15 pm so this makes sense.
Place was vibrant though in the back and pastries did look good. Unfortunately, I cannot ...
