Rude and Unhelpful Experience at Chip City
This was my first time using Too Good To Go, and I was really looking forward to trying Chip City. Unfortunately, it turned into a really unpleasant experience. I placed an order for cookies and arrived just a few minutes after the 12pm pickup window due to train delays. I wasn’t aware of how strict the timing was since it was my first time using the app.
When I got there, the employee didn’t come out right away because she was in the back making cookies. When she finally came out, I politely explained my situation and showed my receipt. Instead of being understanding or even slightly helpful, she was rude and dismissive. I get that there are rules, but the way she spoke to me was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. It honestly felt like she couldn’t care less. I left without my order and with a really bad impression of the place.
Definitely won’t be returning, and I hope Chip City reconsiders how they handle customer service—especially when it’s not even the...
Read moreI’ve never tried Chip City, so the free cookie deal on National Cookie Day was a great opportunity to finally try their cookies. This is 100% how a classic American chunky cookie should be. Thick, sweet and ooey gooey.
I placed the order in-app and picked up my cookies 10 minutes later at their Park Slope store. The staff was very friendly and passionate. Their store decors and merch are also super cute.

It was also relatively less sweet than the other cookie flavors (~50% less sugar than a chocolate chip cookie).
*Confetti Cookie You can never go wrong with this classic flavor. It was a vanilla based sugar cookie mixed with rainbox sprinkles. The cookie was still slightly warm when I got it. Buttery and sugary...
