Claw Daddy's — Restaurant in New York

Nice atmosphere, clean and modern restaurant with plenty of seating. Convenient location as you are 1-2 blocks from Barclays, and Atlantic Terminal mall which has plenty of subway lines. The drinks weren’t impressive, watered down. Overlooked it as i know this place specializes in seafood 🦞. Other similar Cajun seafood places have better pricing. The service is pretty quick and the waitress was friendly. However, the other staff in this place was RUDE and damn near disrespectful after the waitress made a mistake. I believe the guy is a runner and snatched.... yes snatched food off of my plate until he got it sorted out. The confusion started when my friend ordered king crab legs and the waitress entered snow crab legs, which i ordered along with my shrimp. When this person brought our food out, he asked who ordered the shrimp and then mentioned the snow crab legs. My co worker thought her order was my crab legs, and so did i. Not realizing they bagged my orders together, we thought the snow crab legs belonged to me. Instantly the runner got annoyed, and started questioning how much i had ordered and whether i was sure the snow crab legs were mine. He was obviously annoyed and was looking around for the waitress who was serving other customers. This person was very rude and not once did he smile or apologize for his behavior. He even went as far as asking me if i ordered 3 things? Ok one.... maybe i did? Or maybe i could have ordered an extra to go? I didn’t understand this food runners attitude and rudeness. We called over the waitress and she helped sort it out. She apologized and went back to put in the correct order. I could not understand The other staff members attitude, and rudeness. Not once did this person come back and apologize. The waitress was apologetic and the manager comped the drinks. While i appreciated their efforts, the behavior of the other staff member left a bad taste which means i will never visit this place again. There are other similar restaurants which i will...

Chose this place to surprise my friends with the wonderful news that I'm expecting. We had no reservations but we were seated immediately. I was really excited to try everything but our table was so small. We had to order little by little. The jambalaya was so good, and so was the mac and cheese.

The oysters were better than I expected they were juicy and had a hint of garlic and herbs which made them delicious. We had the King crab legs in medium spicy garlic butter and the spicy garlic butter.

The sauce was definitely not as spicy as they made it seem. To me the sauce was very bland it lacked so much flavor. I was disappointed because the sauce looked like it had so much flavor but It didnt. Had to fix it with more salt, extra hot sauce, and lemon. The king crab legs are pretty big and it came with corn and potatoes.

We ordered a lot of food but because it was so busy and packed I suppose our waiter forgot a lot of our food. He was trying his best. I would definitely go back to try more food off the menu and I would recommend bringing your favorite hot sauce, especially if you like really spicy food like me.

Honestly I ate a whole pound of seafood so if you love seafood this is the place for you and you dont need anyone to help you. I would have definitely ate more but our waiter forgot most of our order. I ate 30 oysters alone because of how good they were and they were $1.50 great price if you ask me.

My friends had drinks and they said they were pretty strong they come in these capri sun looking bags. So cute I guess it's a restaurant signature for their drinks. They even gave me soda in the bag. Overall it was a good experience. I'll definitely try it again on a less busy day. And I'll definitely bring...

The girl taking my order clearly wasn't trained or had a handle on the language. She kept having to go back & forth to get pricing for items that were by weight & other questions about the menu. She was a sweetheart & knew very little. I finally placed my order & was waiting for dungeness crab w/ corn & my appetizers. After about 10 min. 2 server came out from the main dining area to tell me there is no dungeness crabs & they haven't had any nor will they have any for the week most likely. Something about being a new restaurant & vendors...I was a bit upset but let it go & just went ahead & ordered some King crab legs...which I absolutely didn't want!! The shrimp & deviled egg were cool & all but still it's just deviled eggs. The Capri sun was pure syrup & ice!! No alcohol in sight. I actually had to order a seltzer to counter all that sugar. I was so over it I didn't even eat the crablegs there + it was late so I took it home after attempting to eat one leg.

Now, I don't know who on this planet boils crab legs. Not steamed just boiled; like an egg. WITHOUT ANY SEASONING AT ALL. THIS IS NOT LOUISIANA STYLE COOKING!! The "Crab Daddy" sauce was horrible. This sauce had no taste. Just big chunks of garlic & a ton of peppercorn. No salt or any type of flavor. The legs were so over cooked the meet was hard & the shells were soft. It was bland and lacking any hint of seafood.

Don't waste your time or $$. You can find better steamed seafood @ any steam fish spot on Nostrand, Fulton, Utica etc. U can choose ur spice levels, garlic, butter, corn, sweet (potato) okra, string...
