So I had a Sangria which was perfectly mixed for my drink. It was fruity delicious "creeper" Of a drink. I definitely would order it again. As for food we ordered the grilled salmon which can with the perfect blend of fresh and delicious vegetables that had a splash of vinegar. The salmon had the perfect crisp to it and in every bite there was so much avocado chunks. Our waiter checked on us multiple times which made us feel like our comfort was a priority. The ambiance was also very relaxing and easy on the eyes. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for great food, ambiance and drinks.

Checked out this new restaurant bar in my neighborhood. Came in around 7pm and was a great crowd, bar was hopping and the decor looked great. Started with a delicious mezcal cocktail, then switched to beer as they had an amazing selection and lots of local brews! We tried a lot of the food on the menu - Short Rib Tagine, Octopus, Speck Crisps, Duck and Brussel Sprouts - all spectacular! I think we found our new favorites local spot, plenty more cocktails, beer and food to try. Will be back for brunch this Sunday.

My girlfriends and I had a gathering to see each other, and someone from the group decided on this location. They open at 4, so it great for after-work. The decor of the location was great. I got there early, so I sat at the bar. The bartender was amazing and pleasant. Once the group gathered, we were seated. When you are seated, you don't need to wait on tje waiters. You download their app, and you order from your phone. It gave me a little airport style of service. The atmosphere was great with a diverse crowd.

The pros: The atmosphere at this spot is very welcoming; the decor is typical of a decent Manhattan bar; gender-neutral restrooms are certainly a plus. District Local does bar food right. Their chicken sandwich and Cubano were delicious, and the portions were commensurate with the dish's prices. Overall, I would certainly recommend this spot for the food.

The cons: My boyfriend and I were served by a rather innattentive server who seemed to forget about us more than once. When I ordered a vodka cranberry, they returned with a vodka soda. A small mistake, to be sure, but at this point, the bar was neither crowded nor particularly noisy. I felt we weren't being listened to very closely. District Local's speciality drinks were also a huge miss. Both the Cranberry Mule and the West Side Chandy tasted awful. The vodka soda I mentioned might have been made with dishwater. Eventually, we migrated to their canned beer selection, which was, predictably, more palatable.

Overall, I would say that this spot is worth the stop for some reasonably priced, good food. Extend your night out, and skip the drinks here. Your taste buds...

Cute little neighborhood restaurant with great food. I knew the place had a great location. What I did not expect was how friendly and helpful the staff would be. Luckily for us - we found this District Local and what an experience! Good energy across the board. It lives up to the hype. The food variety, prices, and customer service is amazing here! The food is amazing. It was unbelievable. Wow Wow and WOW! Great central location, top-notch service. Service was great and I will definitely be back the next time. District Local is one of my favorite restaurants not only for quality of food but for the excellent service. 100 % satisfaction! If it's good enough for me, it's good enough for me. Thoroughly impressed. Thanks to yelp for...
