I recently started coming to Faith's Food due to lack of available chinese restaurants. I have gone twice since the corona shut down. The first time i noticed that the price was higher then I would have spent in other restaurants when they were open. I spent about $45, and noticed that the lady did not ask me what free beverage I want like usual chinese restaurants will. OK. I come back a second time order a common order for my family which I have ordered in numerous places. As I wait I am looking at the menu and notice several coupons at the bottom stating that you would receive free items depending on your cost. I spent $55 on a meal that normally runs in the neighborhood of $40. One of the coupon states that for $45 you get 4 cans of soda or a 2 liter bottle. I ask the lady for the 2 liter bottle and she tells me she doesn't have. I then point to the coupon and tell her I'll take the cans of soda. She tells me no because they bought those at the SUPERMARKET and I would have to pay for it. I tell her to keep the soda , thank her for the food and walk out. Once i get home which is 20 minutes away and begin to undress my son tells me we are missing part of the order. I call Faith's up and tell them the missed part of my order and the lady wants me to go back and get it. I explained that I was already home and undressed. She asks for my address. She then says that it is too far and they are busy and kept asking me to get it. I didn't get into an argument due to fear of them doing something to my food. I told them I would go bye in a day or two and get my money back. Not only are the price gouging but the customer service is horrible. If not because I have no choice but to go back due to no other Chinese restaurant open. I wouldn't go back and report them to the city. As soon as I find another...
Read moreso my lady wasn't feeling well, and ordered in delivery (via eat24) even though we live about 520 feet away from this place, according to google.
after an hour and a few minutes, we called to politely check in on the order, given the mild hilarity of their moving at well under 10 feet per minute, at which point the woman on the phone said they were very busy, and assured us it would be 5-10 minutes.
at 90 minutes, i called back, at which point the lady asks our address, again, and says "I ALREADY TOLD YOU!!! IT'S ON IT'S WAY!!!!!" and promptly hung up on me, before i could even get to "well, that's what you said half an hour ago."
congrats on compelling me to write my first ever google review on our first and last order. the food, incidentally, was passable at best, one appetizer was wrong, and the egg drop soup was plainly wonton soup (wontons strangely included) that they'd just dropped some egg in.
so... yeah. have fun with that. (although, to be utterly fair, their delivery man was super apologetic, and sprinted up our two flights of pretty steep stairs, with genuine concern... but... damage...
Read moreI order from here a few times per month and it's my go to. However, today my partner and I experienced extremely poor customer service on their end. We live in the area and our food didn't come after over an hour. Normally were able to order and know our food will arrive quickly. We cancelled but called delivery and the business to ask what was up and if we could reorder and got attitude from the delivery guy about cancelling the order, to which we responded, it took over an hour with 0 communication. It also sounded like he was eating our cancelled order while on the phone with us 🤣🤣🤡
I can't imagine owning a business and dropping the ball on long standing customers who make nearly weekly purchases multiple times per week. You lose a customer like that and you're losing a lot of cash..you...
