HeyTea is now my new favorite milk tea place in NYC. I had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight for me was the milk tea—it was simply phenomenal.

The tea itself was incredibly creamy and rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. The boba was perfect, with a satisfying chewy texture and a lovely sweetness that complemented the drink beautifully. Honestly, it was one of the best boba teas I’ve had in a while!

Their egg pudding topping was absolutely delicious as well. It had a smooth, custardy texture and a subtle sweetness that made it the perfect pairing with the milk tea. The combination of the two was heavenly.

I couldn’t resist trying their Supreme Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, and I loved it so much that I came back the very next day for another round! The brown sugar syrup added a rich, caramel-like sweetness that was perfectly balanced, and the boba just melted in my mouth. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone visiting.

The location itself is also noteworthy. The shop has a stylish, modern vibe that makes it an inviting place to relax and enjoy your drink. The moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by the fragrant aroma of tea leaves, which only adds to the overall sensory experience.

I am officially a HEYTEA fan girl and I'm so excited to see them expanding quickly in NYC. They just opened up a new location in the heart or Chinatown!!

When we were holding our drinks, people started asking us where did we get them. It proves how popular HeyTea is lol.

I'm obsessed with anything matcha, so I had to try their latest Matcha Zen series. Their cup design allows you to twist open the lid and drink the cheese foam directly. Then you'll get a cute cute "green moustache".

＊Matcha Jasmine 千目抹茉* $7.99 The matcha cheese foam topping retains the bittersweetnees of matcha. It adds an extra layer of matcha richness to the drink. For the base, it is a mixture of matcha, organic milk and green tea. I really enjoyed the aromatic tea base.

＊Cheese Matcha 芝芝抹茶 $7.99 Cheese Matcha comes with original cheese foam topping. The cheese foam is perfect: thick and not too watery. The sweet and salty flavors further enhance the pureness of matcha and milk.

Their matcha tastes different from your regular matcha latte--the texture is richer and creamier because of organic milk and cheese foam, while the bittersweet matcha still shines through.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience I had at your store.

On Sunday, I placed an order for two matcha drinks through the Heytea app at 11:52 AM for pick-up. I arrived at the store around 12:10 PM, and the order was still showing as “preparing.” I patiently waited until 12:20 PM, and then asked a staff member—a lady with glasses and a ponytail—about my order, showing her the order number. She did not respond or provide any explanation and simply continued with her tasks.

After another 3 minutes of waiting, I asked another staff member (a male employee) about the order. Again, I received no communication or update.

In total, I waited over 30 minutes for my drinks, which is unacceptable for a pre-ordered pickup. More frustrating than the delay was the complete lack of communication from your staff. It felt like my presence and inquiry were ignored entirely.

I understand it may have been a busy time, but basic customer service—acknowledgment, transparency, and updates—should still be maintained. This experience has left a very poor impression, and I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve service quality and...
