Such an amazing cute place !!!!! I will definitely be back they open from 7am -4pm 5-10pm or 5:30-10 pm . I ordered a dragon fruit iced drink I was able to get a sample and it was so gooood !!! The guava drink is cool too if ur in to guava but the dragon fruit was very refreshing !! I got a bacon & egg & cheese w/ an average sized dragon fruit drink ( see pic ) my order = $9.80 or a lil less or more but it was under $10.00 I will definitely be back w/ my son to try the empanadas, burgers . I love that it’s in the neighborhood not too far from my house. The bacon egg & cheese on a crossiant smells so good . I’m typing this review as I walk home ! The dragon fruit drink is very good honestly taste Better then Starbucks because it’s light , not overly sweet litterly perfect. I’m very glad I decided to stop by & support I don’t get to usually see this place open due to my work schedule but I will def make it my business to visit often with my son. The dragon fruit drink is perfect !!!!! I am home now and the bacon egg and cheese is PERFECT not overly cheese my it’s moist & taste great ! Do your self a favor and get it on a crossitant ! Kafen is a charming new coffee and breakfast stand in East Williamsburg, offering a promising start in the neighborhood. The coffee is a pleasant surprise—smooth and not at all bitter. The croissant sandwich is quite tasty, although the croissant itself could use a little more flavor.

There are some small improvements that would enhance the experience:

• The server, who appeared to be a high school student, was sitting on the floor and couldn’t be seen. A taller stool would help her engage with customers more effectively. • The pastry case was nearly empty, leaving little to choose from. • They should get a tap-to-pay reader at the counter, so she doesn’t have to handle customers’ phones. • The trash right next to the stand was unpleasant and reeked. Whether it’s theirs or a neighbor’s, it should be placed in a bin to avoid turning customers away.
