L’Aadresse in NYC is a true hidden gem in the city’s dining scene. From the moment you step in, you’re enveloped in an ambiance that feels both chic and welcoming. The decor is modern yet cozy, with soft lighting and elegant furnishings that set the stage for an incredible dining experience.
The menu is a delightful fusion of French, Mediterranean, and New American influences, executed with creativity and precision. Every dish is beautifully presented, and you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients in each bite. I started with the truffle burrata, which was creamy, aromatic, and paired perfectly with house-made focaccia. For my main course, I chose the duck breast, cooked to perfection with a crispy skin and juicy, tender meat inside. Every element on the plate complemented each other perfectly, making it one of the best dishes I’ve had in NYC.
The cocktails are equally impressive, and the wine list features an extensive selection of both well-known and unique options to suit any taste. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, making excellent recommendations without being intrusive. Service was seamless, and you can tell they genuinely care about creating a memorable experience for each guest.
L’Aadresse is ideal for anything from a romantic dinner to a special celebration. It’s not just a meal but an experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. It’s one of those places that stays with you, long after the...
Read moreBefore I get started, I want to say that the staff was extremely friendly and very courteous for the duration of our entire meal. The customer service was amazing.
Now, as for the food, I cannot even begin to describe what atrocities we ate tonight.
For appetizers, my friend got the scallop and I got the avocado tartare. The avocado tartare was unbearably sweet and my tooth ached after eating it. My friend’s scallop dish was soaked in vinegar and had an extremely acidic and salty taste, with a burn in our throats afterwards.
For the main course, we got the tandoori chicken and the black truffle gnocchi. The tandoori chicken was extremely dry and the insides were not well seasoned, only the skin had the flavor and it was very salty, and only salty with no other seasoning detected. For the gnocchi, I can’t even describe the awful taste that it had. It was absolutely horrible. The pasta sauce was almost like a soup, but not the good kind. It was watery and oily at the same time. As for the gnocchi, it tasted extremely soggy and left an unpleasant sensation in my mouth.
For both the appetizers and main course, both me and my friend were unable to finish it.
The dessert was okay, it wasn’t anything spectacular and the presentation was boring.
In the end, we did not get charged for the appetizer and the main course, thanks to the generosity of the staff. I hope that these dishes get revised because to put it frankly, they are unfit for human...
Read moreExquisite Food. Exquisite Service. My husband and I had dinner at L’Adresse in NoMad this past weekend and it was perfect. We went for our anniversary and though our server, Natalia, who was amazing, went above and beyond to make it special, I could see from the way we were treated by the staff, that care, thoughtfulness and attention to detail is simply how they operate. We were there on the earlier side. We loved the ambiance. The high ceilings and beautiful lighting and décor felt peaceful, and elegant and welcoming. We felt immediately at ease. We had the Ceasar salad which was so fresh, crisp and flavorful, given its simplicity; and the salmon crispy rice, also a fresh and lovely balance of flavors and textures. My husband ordered the NY Strip Steak - perfectly seasoned and temperature. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. It was sublime. Perfect temperature, tender, delicious. The Miso-teriyaki glaze, shiitake & enoki mushrooms, scallion, ponzu sauce was light and complementary. For dessert, while we ordered the Basque cheese cake, which was as it should be. The coffee was fresh and brewed to perfection. They celebrated us with a slice of Smetannyk, their layered sour cream cake. It was my first time trying and no sooner did we finish, I immediately wanted more! I highly recommend L’Adresse, whether you are going for a special occasion or a night out. It is dining as it...
