I never leave reviews but I had to jump on here and say this is quite literally the most perfect cafe. Amazing for morning/breakfast, afternoon/lunch, and during Ramadan the most perfect dinner/Iftar. My favorite is going first thing in the morning when the sun is rising through the floor to ceiling windows. When I tell you they make the best morning light roast I’ve ever had. I add oat milk and simple syrup and I just don’t understand how they can make light roast so buttery and smooth without so much acidity. The cafe has a Nordic atmosphere for a cool and calm vibe but the warmth and Afghan influenced culture is nothing short of loud the moment you take a bite of the firni donut or sip of the pink chai. The cardamom latte is my fave and the short rib sandwich is just …🤤. Everything on the menu is so good it’s hard to chose most days. The fact that all meat is halal is just cherry on top. In a country where so much food is processed- it’s great to have somewhere to eat where you know the food is A1 quality. This cafe is the reason I’m happy I renewed my lease so close by! The staff are so friendly and have the best playlists going always. It’s basically my second home now. The owner is constantly checking in on how people are— and is such a kind and generous soul!! I feel lucky to be so close to a cafe people are trekking from Brooklyn to try and Californian’s having on their NYC must-try list. There is really nothing like this cafe anywhere else, a gem unique...

Picture this: A hidden gem nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, buzzing with the kind of energy that only the best local spots have. This isn't just another coffee shop; it's a revelation in a cup.

First off, the coffee. It's not just good; it's a masterclass in what coffee should taste like. Imagine the richest, most aromatic beans, brewed to perfection. It's like they've bottled up a little piece of heaven and serve it in a cup.

But hold on, it's not just about the coffee. The avocado toast - oh, the avocado toast! It's the kind of dish that makes you wonder why you ever ate anything else. Perfectly toasted, topped with the freshest, creamiest avocado you've ever tasted. It's not food; it's an experience.

Then come the pancakes. Forget every pancake you've ever had; these are in a league of their own. So soft they practically melt in your mouth, with a hint of guava that'll transport you straight to the tropics. It's like a symphony of flavors playing a serenade on your taste buds.

And let's not forget the baked goods. We're talking bakery-fresh, each bite a delightful reminder of what real baking is all about.

In short, if you want to experience where the locals go for a coffee that's more than just a drink, for food that's more than just a meal, this is the place. It's not just a coffee shop; it's a...

The high price point is worth it for the quality of the food and drinks at Little Flower.

I typically save my visits as a special treat since a latte/mocha plus a breakfast sandwich will run you about $22 but everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. For a drink, sandwich, and pastry you’ll pay closer to $28, for reference.

The addition of more savory sandwiches like the hot chicken is great so you can choose breakfast vs. lunch cravings. I’m not a spice person but this sandwich has a nice subtle heat to it, probably my new favorite dish.

The pastries taste fresh and are unique as well to any other cafe.

I will note that the food is not meant for Grab-and-Go, meaning it’s a bit messy. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich is delicious but since it’s scrambled you will need to eventually fork and knife it. Same with the pastries - they are filled with rich creams or other fillings/toppings so definitely don’t want to hope on the subway or start driving and try to eat (speaking from personal experience).

I only do takeout as the place is always packed, the chairs aren’t really comfortable in my opinion from the few times I’ve sat waiting for food, but again it’s always busy so it must be comfortable enough.

The staff is personable and so helpful, so be sure to stop in and try...
