We visited this restaurant with friends, eager to try something new. As someone who isn’t vegan but enjoys exploring different cuisines, I approached this experience with an open mind. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant, which made for a welcoming start. Located in a bustling area, it's definitely in a prime spot. When it came to the food, I have to be honest—I would rate the bibimbap a 5 out of 10. I'm a big fan of Korean cuisine and particularly love bibimbap, but this version didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It was also my first (and probably last) time trying tofu skin wraps. On a positive note, the portions are generous, so you certainly won't leave hungry. While I may not return, I think this place is worth checking out if you're vegan. It offers a different take on some classic dishes, and you might just find your new favorite meal.

Visited the place for dinner. Got the Steamed Dumplings, Hot & Sour Soup and the House Bibimbap. The house bibimbap was the highlight of our experience. The veggies they use are pretty fresh and tasty! However I really do wish the sauces left a better taste in my mouth. The hot and sour soup was also decent and was served in a big bowl that was shared by two people. The steamed dumplings aren’t the best around and I’ve tasted much better in other vegan places within a mile radius. This could be skipped. However we did hear that the highlight in this place was the Black Pepper Seitan, which we did not try. To sum it up, this place definitely is worth a try but emphasizes on Quantity over Quality.

I really enjoyed my experience here! I ordered the pad Thai and some dumplings — both were super tasty. The pad Thai especially came in a huge portion, so much so that I couldn’t finish it (which honestly made me a bit sad! The whole menu is fully vegan, which makes it a great spot for plant-based eaters. The only thing that felt a little off was the music — if I remember correctly, they were playing something like rap, which didn’t really match the calm, pan-Asian vegan vibe of the place imo :) It’s not a big deal at all, and definitely not something that would stop me from coming again. Overall, I left happy and would absolutely go back!

I stopped for food here last night. I ordered dinner, ate my dinner there, and the food was so good that I put in another order to take more food home with me. They brought my check for the food that I had there, and I asked a younger girl to add a lemonade to my to-go order. I paid for the first order and sat there waiting for the check for the to-go order.

15 minutes later I asked the younger girl about the to-go order, and she asked me if I put it in with someone else and I told her "Yes". Another 15 minutes passes and I'm still sitting there waiting for the to-go order!!! So finally I ask the younger girl, AGAIN, if the to-go order and the check for the to-go order is actually going to come anytime soon and she asks me AGAIN if I put a to-go order in!!! AGAIN I tell her YES!!!! I mean, how many times do I have to put the to-go order in?? I had been sitting there for like 30 minutes waiting on the to-go order! Jesus! I order delivery from this place at least twice a week, but now - never again!!

I left without the to-go order after wasting 30 minutes of my life sitting there...

Civilization starts halfway down Mulberry Street, and continues around the corner on Broome, with this cozy, casual oasis. You'll want to turn down your mobile phone's brightness for the comfortable elegance here. There's bamboo lanterns and glass bowl lamps, framed photos and objets d'art. Lavender sprigs garnish each table, and free jazz was playing on the speakers when I was there, with long languid saxophone solos complementing the meal so well. The menu is vegan Asian fusion. I had the basil-ginger tofu. The tofu appeared like grilled chicken, with red and green peppers, asparagus and grilled zucchini; the rice was a fine pilaf of short brown rice with wild black rice mixed in. For an added kick, get some hot sauce on the side - it's a nice pure sweet chili oil. I was torn between spicing up the dish versus quieting my palette enough to let its fine ingredients speak their authentic taste range - so I ended up alternating between these two. I can't wait to come back here and explore this super menu...

The service was horrid. We walked into this tiny spot eager to try its popular food, but our excitement dimmed when we were coldly greeted by the young Asian woman. She practically tossed our menus onto the table, rudely took our order, and ignored us the entire time we were there--that is, until it was time to pay. Then, THEN, she sweetened up just a little. Meanwhile as we were eating, she was busy kissing up to the couple eating in the opposite corner, constantly checking up on them and sharing her personal experiences. At the same time, she was neglecting another table who were waiting for her. I cannot understand what caused her to treat us so rudely while sweet-talking the other customers. It totally ruined our appetite. Not that the mediocre food would have satisfied it anyway. (WHO WRAPS SAMOSAS IN SPRING ROLL WRAPPERS?!) We were so so disappointed with this place. We have never encountered such an...
