So listen, I am from south Jersey. Like actual South Jersey, not Cherry Hill (sorry Cherry Hill, but you're NOT south). Pizza is a religion where we live. No lie, until about the last ten years, the ONLY kind of restaurant within our community was Italian/pizza, with the exception of one diner, one breakfast joint, and one Chinese restaurant. So I was skeptical when my friend raved about Nolita, which she was introduced to on a food tour. But my cynical mind was quickly changed. The pizza was divine. From the thin crust (but not too thin) to the sublime sauce, our pizza was phenomenal. And the owner couldn't have been nicer. We loved that they have indoor seating now and a bathroom, but I can imagine that this place would be popular if the pizza was sold out of the back of a 1994 Honda Civic hatchback. Nolita-I would tell you to open shop down here, but I know you would be quickly overtaken by the countless summer visitors and I probably wouldn't be able...
Read moreIf you find yourself in SoHo, make it a point to stop by Nolita Pizza, a true gem in the heart of the city. I recently visited this charming eatery and was immediately welcomed by the friendly staff, including a wonderful counter person and talented chef who assured me that more delicious offerings were on the way, despite the initial appearance of the pizza in the case.
I opted for a slice of their fantastic square Sicilian pizza topped with homemade marinara, and it was simply divine! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the flavors were spot on—definitely among the best I’ve had in New York City. The cozy dining room next door provided a comfortable spot to enjoy my meal, making it a great place to unwind.
While I noticed several tour groups enjoying their slices, the atmosphere remained warm and inviting. Nolita Pizza embodies the quintessential New York experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for delicious pizza by the slice. You won't be...
Read moreNolita Pizza Diner is a real treasure in the city! The moment you walk in, you're hit with the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked pizza. Their pizzas are seriously amazing – the crust is just the right mix of crispy and chewy, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always super fresh. Whether you stick with a classic Margherita or go for one of their creative specialty pies, you’re in for a treat.
But what really sets this place apart is the music. They've got this awesome Spotify DJ Barry who curates the perfect playlist for your meal. His mixes are spot-on, ranging from energetic hits that get you tapping your feet to mellow tunes that let you just chill and enjoy your food. Berry’s playlist totally enhances the whole vibe of the diner, making it a fun and relaxed spot to hang out.
All in all, Nolita Pizza Diner is a must-visit. Great pizza, fantastic tunes, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while – what more could...
