Mama Pho — Restaurant in New York

This little gem recently opened up around the corner and I couldn't wait to try it. I ordered the beef pho and shrimp summer rolls. I could've done without the shrimp summer rolls — nothing over the top and it seemed like it was pre-rolled instead of made to order. The pho, however, was incredible! The broth was so delicious and has so much flavor. They also don't skimp with fillings. Great portion of noodles and veggies and the beef was so tender.

We stopped in because it was close and we were hungry, not typical for us to go without reading reviews. Boy was that a mistake.

Thick sliced meat, very sweet southern broth, sweet meatball, veggies were not fresh. Probably one of the worst bowls of Pho I have ever had. My vietnamese family told us it was an abomination of their culture.

Not my first time here but very disappointed this time, especially the service. I ordered takeout on September 27th at lunchtime. The only female servers was extremely rude from the moment I arrived. She gave me the wrong food, and instead of apologizing, she said it was only a “two or three dollar difference.” Again without any apologies!!!!!
