I came to New York City excited to try 7th Street Burger, as it had been getting a lot of buzz on social media. I am a huge fan of burgers, so I couldn't miss the opportunity. The reality is that the burger was incredible. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bun was soft and toasted. However, there were a few minor issues with my experience. First, they were out of fries. This was a bit disappointing, as I was looking forward to trying them. Second, we ordered 3 burgers, and one of them was supposed to come with sauce on the side. However, the sauce was not included. Overall, I had a good experience at 7th Street Burger. The burger was delicious, but the minor issues were a bit frustrating. For a concept that values simplicity, they should take care of the minor details. I would still recommend 7th Street Burger to anyone looking for a great burger. However, I would also advise them to be aware of the potential for minor issues.

Pretty straightforward smashed burger. Menu is as simple as it gets. I kinda like it, but not so much. Unless the smashed burger they have is ridiculously good and the menu items are all great, I’m okay with that. But first, they were out of fries. Second, they have no place to sit (they only have a very thin standing bar which fits about 4 people at most). Also, the burger was a bit greasy and saucy for my taste, and the meat was not particularly delicious (it was ok). It’s pretty clear that smashed burgers are not a New York specialty as this place is touted as one of the best in town, whereas other towns have incredible smashed burgers. Don’t take me wrong, 7th St is good for a quick bite, but I don’t see how it’s much better than Shake Shack or Five Guys, which are found pretty much everywhere in the US.

This burger place was all over social media being an In-n-out type spot. The burger was creamy and the patty was not burnt but crispy. Their loaded fries are by far the best thing at this place with burger patties, their homemade sauce (amazing) and onions. If you are hungry you have to order a 2 by 2 or 2 burgers. It had very cute seating but could have more because it can only seat at the max 10 people. This is a very viral spot online and I understand why, I highly recommend this juicy burger place.

The Beyond burger didn’t have a huge difference in taste from the already amazing regular smashed burger. The potato bread gives the burger a soft exterior and soaks up the American cheese, chopped onions, pickles and house sauce. Expect a bomb of grease, flavor, and variety of textures. The loaded fries dish is basically a deconstructed cheeseburger on a bed of perfectly crunchy fries. They did a wonderful job with the fries, which well-seasoned (did not need ketchup) and wonderfully crunchy with every bite. The inside has a few standing spots but no seated dine in. The customer service was super friendly and the food came out quickly. Very happy...
