Found this gem Friday night when I really wanted to try the 4 dish and a soup place next door because it was closed. Came here at 8pm on a Friday night and there were no other customers besides my friend and I, just some togo orders being made.
This is a cash only joint which is not surprising in Chinatown. Wanting to eat gluten free, I got a stir fried rice noodles which was recommended by the manager saying it's one of their super popular dishes. No wonder, because it was surprisingly delicious! My friend got a large wonton soup, where the wontons were so thin and didn't have much fillings but the broth was superb. At $3 a bowl, we couldn't really complain. For sure this food has more subtle flavor than say sichuan cuisine, but still outstanding in its own...

I had the lychee pork (amazing) and Fuzhou noodles. Both were great and it was entirely too much food that I happily devoured. I think the "over rice" food typically comes with some steamed veggies so that would be more than enough food but it's so cheap that i didn't mind indulging and supporting a...
