New Shun Wei — Restaurant in New York

The food is delicious. However there is a woman who took my phone order and was very rude. I ordered 2 lunch specials; one rib tips and the other lo main. ALL of the lunch specials come with a choice of rice (chicken, pork or brown) She asked if I wanted rice with the lo main, and I asked if the rice was included? She stated that some people don't like rice with theirs. I told her that I wanted rice with mine. She continued to instruct me on how I should order. She said " next time you have tell me if you want rice " I corrected her by saying ' no... it is your responsibility to ask me what kind of rice I want ' I reluctantly placed my order and requested that they leave out the peas and carrots as I am allergic to them. My husband received the order and when I checked it there was peas and carrots in the rice! I am so livid. Never eating from there again and I plan on making a public issue about...

I ordered a shrimp lo mein lunch special from this restaurant. It was specified that my lunch special included pork fried rice. When my food got delivered to me, I had noodles but NO rice. When I called the restaurant to ask if I could get my rice delivered the lady I spoke to essentially told me it was MY fault that I didn't get rice because I didn't write down that I wanted it when it says that the rice is already included in my order. There is an entirely SEPARATE menu option for shrimp lo mein by itself so there was no misordering on my part. I wouldn't have minded waiting for the rice to be delivered but the lady didn't offer me any compensation for them getting my order wrong. All in all, TERRIBLE customer service. I will NOT ever be ordering...

I ordered late night take-out. The doordash service was quick and the food arrived on time. Unfortunately, I ended up tossing most of the food out. The wonton soup had little flavor and tasted more like chicken broth. The dumplings were skimpy on the filling and didn’t really taste like wonton dumplings. The worst part of the meal was that the beef chow mein I ordered had no noodles! It was mostly onions and a little bit of beef but beef vegetable stirfry is not what I had ordered. It was somewhat the same story for the beef fried rice...very little beef. To add insult to injury, the fortune cookie was crushed. I was skeptical about ordering from here as Yelp rates this business as 2-stars. I should have listened to Yelp and not Google’s...
