We stopped in here while visiting Hudson Yards on Labor Day (Sunday, 9/1) at approximately 3:30 PM, looking for a spot to catch the US Open match between Naomi Osaka & Coco Gauff. At first glance, the place seemed promising—TVs, bar atmosphere, decent menu. We asked the host if we could be seated somewhere with a clear view of a TV showing the match, and he accommodated us. After being seated, we saw a busboy wiping down a nearby table and asked him—very politely—if he could confirm that the TVs we were facing were tuned to the US Open. He didn’t speak much English but seemed to understand and walked off to pass along the request. Moments later, an older white woman who appeared to be the manager leaned her head around the corner and rudely barked across the dining area, “PLEASE DO NOT TURN THE TV!” Her tone was loud, confrontational, and completely out of line—especially considering we never touched any TV or even had the ability to do so. The TVs were mounted high on the wall and there were no remotes anywhere near us. When we tried to respond and clarify what we had actually said to the busboy, the manager immediately ran to the back kitchen area and never returned. She refused to speak with us face to face or attempt to resolve the situation like a professional. Ironically, it turned out that the TVs were tuned to the US Open already—the match was just on a commercial break. So not only was she completely wrong in her assumption, but her aggressive attitude and cowardly retreat made the entire encounter worse. This was a disgusting display of customer service. We hadn’t even ordered yet, and the experience was so off-putting that we simply walked out. If management is reading this and cares at all about the guest experience, we strongly encourage you to look into who was managing the floor around 3:30 PM on 9/1 and have a serious conversation with this woman. Her behavior reflects terribly on your business. We won’t be returning—and we’ll be warning others to stay away.

We went to this place for the first time, found it thanks to Google reviews just like this one. It was midday, Saturday, in a busy touristy area near the "Vessel" and the end of a Highline. Most places I was clicking on were opening at 5 PM and it was around 3 PM, on starving mode. This place looked nice and we tried and loved it. A little out of the way from our normal routes we're glad we stumbled into it. In terms of "Irish" I'd say quisine is more varied than pure Irish style. There was Guinness stout on draft and shepards pie but there also pizzas, burgers, pasta, sandwiches, normally not found in purely Irish quisine taverns, if you're to be picky (I'm not). So, tradishional american quisine with some other euro-centric dishes, including Irish, some solid draft choices. We ordered a couple of cocktails which were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, a perfect balance of yummy/knock out ratio. Food was great, even when ordering fried dishes they were not drehched in oil, so no heartburn for this old dog. Interior and ambiance were great, there is also a bar if you want to seat by it for drinks or look into outside. Solid music selection, perfect blend of old school classic rock played at acceptable volume. The one that doesn't cause headache or interrupts conversation. Two clean unisex bathrooms, single use. Last, but not least THE STAFF. The staff was just so pleasant, and well trained, I can't see anyone leaving less than 20%. We went in for lunch/dinner and got an experience, we definitely will be back when roaming that area of Manhattan (we're from Brooklyn). Thank you, people of O'Toole's Way, for caring about your reputation, even in a high tourist traffic area, because we have suffered through quite a lot of places that are all looks and no substance. I'll see you later ;)

Friendly and fast service. Everybody was focused on making sure we had a great meal, and everyone succeeded! Also the background music was just hit after hit, loved that đŸŽ¶ The Dangerous Dave's Dublin Dip was delicious, and so was its side salad. Great seasoning on both. The ciabatta bread was authentic and tasty. The margherita pizza was a sleeper hit, suitable for 1 person. The dough was soft and chewy but the bottom was super crispy like it was fried, lovely texture. Great cheese and tomato sauce on top, letting the quality of ingredients speak for themselves. Key lime pie was our favorite. Great lime flavor without getting overwhelming. It is hard to balance the tartness with sweetness but they nailed it with the whipped cream, crunchy coconut, graham cracker crust. We're definitely coming back for this. We would have loved to have sat on the 2nd floor and watched the people walking by on the High Line, but were told it is only open for corporate events. I hope management would reconsider this. It is such a nice and unique thing about this area, to be able to watch people from all around the world walk by. To leave it empty most of the time is sad.

After an afternoon walking around Chelsea market & pier 57 area, we walked here drawn by positive reviews suggesting great craft beer selection, food & service. Sadly, that was not our experience in a mostly empty venue at prime dinner time.

The ambience is lovely & the location cannot be beat, right at the start of the Highline and near the Hudson Yards stn. We sat outdoors anticipating a pleasant evening.

Our server was nice and promptly came to offer us water and take our drink orders. The beer selection was ok - not extensive (maybe 16 total) and very few craft beers. My partner ordered a Guinness and I requested a Montauk juicy IPA (can), but was told they were all out. So I ordered a draft IPA. Our beers arrived promptly but had been spilled, so there was beer all over the glasses. Not a big deal, but messy.

My partner ordered a braised brisket chili with jalapeño cornbread from the specials. I ordered squash pizza. We ordered a kale Caesar salad to start.

Our salad arrived promptly. But it was spinach (no kale). It tasted ok, but spinach lacks the crunch of kale (and Caesar salad should have crunch). Unfortunately it took 30 minutes after we finished our salad for our mains to arrive. The squash pizza was tasty but almost stone cold. The chili was super good. But the cornbread had been burnt, and the batter had been overmixed, so the cornbread was tough with a charred taste (I make jalapeño cornbread quite often, and I am quite certain it should be tender and not almost black).

We got the sense that the staff knew they had messed up, as they came by twice to see if everything was ok. To be fair to them, we did not complain as that is not our style, and because we had already been sitting there so long we did not want to send back our food.

Our bill came to 78usd plus tax, and we felt overcharged for the quality of food and service.

I think we...
