Omakase 95 — Restaurant in New York

Fantastic! I live nearby in the neighborhood and have seen the new restaurant front for a few weeks now. Stopped in with my fiance for an anniversary date and we were so impressed! Amazing, high quality sushi. Chef served us and described each piece to us in detail, which I really appreciated. Each piece was delicious, and many had creative elements (think truffle salt; dusting of yuzu; homemade mayo; etc.). If you are a purist and want your sushi with soy/wasabi only, you might not prefer this style of omakase, but we thought it was excellent.
