Peak Lounge Bar — Restaurant in New York

My friends and I went to peak today Monday 5th , February 2024 at 8:30 pm and we ordered the bottle of wine , they poured 3 glasses for 3 of us!!!!! And then we asked to move to bar for getting food While we having a good time and enjoying ourselves we NEEDED to ASKED for wine that we ordered, ask for water that gone but no one care to treat us even though we not happy but we were ok

And then when we asked for checking the bills came out with 1 bottle of wine and add on 2 glasses (for what ???? Did I ordered glasses of wine??? When??) I don’t know what going on why we needed 2 glasses cuz we were there for 3 at the first place!!!!!!!

Why they added on 2 glasses if they poured 3 glasses?????????

We always go there for our drinks, dinner to having a good time but this is the first time that made us feel like DONT WANT TO go back there anymore

We love to go there cuz it comfortable and close to my house but we weren’t happy at this time , the couple at the bar made us feel Too awkward, they sending love to each other while they are working ( I don’t care that if they are really couples or not!!!!!! But they not focusing on us like usual and make us felt bad to asked more water and wine(that we ordered as a BOTTLE!!) I asked for water for US!! But only my friend got water but not ME my glasses of water been empty for a moment and then when my friend asked to finish out bottle of wine that we ordered, the girl at the bar was said to us like” I just poured your water!!!!” Excuse me we asked to finish our bottle honey!!!!!!!!!!!!

But you were focusing on your lover not your clients!!!!! We NEVER EVER treated like this before!!!!!!!!! And we felt so bad

You either focus on your job or quit the jobs so you can have more time...

Had a very bad encounter at our visit at the Peak. Had a couple of cocktails with my girlfriend during our vacation visit in NYC. We paid roughly $100 for 4 drinks and the waiter was not satisfied with the amount of tips. He argued about this with me during my payment and even later when I asked his manager Angela which way we should go to see the Edge (Observatory) he interrupted our conversation and complaint about it on the floor. I really did not expect this from such a nice place and the waiter really made the whole experience turn into something bad, I regret that we decided to visit the Edge and Peak Bar & Restaurant.

Anyhow manager Angela took us seperate and apologized for the behaviour of this waiter and we went on with our day.

Would recommend the Edge for the views but not the drinks nor the interaction with this specific waiter at Peak.

I would have fired him if he was working for me as I will not recommend my friends to visit Peak because of this interaction.

Cocktails look nice but are mainly ice/water, bit expensive at...
