OK, I am from Cincinnati, Ohio and I just recently moved to Jacksonville Florida. I am also a UPS driver and we happen to drop off a trailer to the hub on 43rd St. in New York. On the way out, we stopped to get some pizza. This is the first time we actually had authentic New York style pizza. Now, when I say, this is by far the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life, 48 years to be exact this statement simply doesn’t do the pizza any justice! We got the buffalo chicken pizza by the slice, and as we are driving out of New York City, my co-driver and I looked at each other and said we should have purchased the whole damn pie! From the top shelf ingredients to the most perfectly cooked crust I have ever bitten into! I could literally eat this 5 days a week easily. Now every time I go to a pizza place around the country or in my new hometown of Jacksonville Florida I am constantly comparing it to Royal Napoli pizza, and there is simply no comparison. I don’t like crossing the George Washington Bridge and coming into New York due to the amount of traffic and tight spaces that I have to navigate a semi through. But now that I have had the pizza, I will gladly drive across the GW any day of the week just to get my hands on more of this pizza! If you guys at Royal Napoli Pizza would consider doing me a favor, either sell me a franchise or build a location in Jacksonville, Florida! There is nowhere in the Midwest, or the southeast that has pizza that could hold a candle to yours. On behalf of all pizza lovers and society in general, thank you for making such a great pie. Wish I could have uploaded additional photos but we couldn’t stop...
Read moreLooking for classic NY pizza on the way to Intrepid Museum. Wail the pizza was good no complaints and the service was pleasant (they take your order and heat your slices) the location was not ideal. Very small interior means counter seating for maybe 4 people and an outside high top for 2. Exterior street was super dirty with vomit in front of the very next door and the treys were not a clean as I would have liked to see. There is a park across the street but we did not venture over. Since the pizza is decent the best part about this place is the prices.. $6.99 meal deal for two cheese slices with a soda can’t be beat. Even their other slices were around $5 each. If you want a whole fresh pie you’ll need to call and hour ahead. We had a group of 7 so this really wasn’t an ideal situation for us but if you’re looking for a quick slice at a great price this...
Read moreWe ordered a cheese pizza, garlic knots and chicken parmigiana sub directly from this restaurant’s website at 6 pm. At 7:30, we had no food and the owner, Hamad, refused to take our call. They use a service called sauce, and sauce didn’t send a driver. So we paid for food that they say they made and left standing there in the restaurant. They wouldn’t remake the food and they refused to refund our money. Sauce promised to deliver the old food but nothing was ever sent. This restaurant is run by a crook. I would go anywhere else in NYC. Worst...
