Love how you gotta do a consultation because they store everything in the back. I’m not very handy so it’s been very reassuring to get recommendations from the experts. I just wanted to take the time to thank the employee who helped me at this hardware store yesterday with my broken walker!! What a mess, the pin holding the wheel popped out, and the employee, kind man with grey hair, helped me with a quick, under $2 fix!

Sadly this establishment is or has already closed. They were a wonderful team. The UPSIDE is that there is a petition to change the name of the street from Marcus Garvey Blvd; to the name of its female owner. Since opening the store in the 1920's, she has been a force for educating women and giving out micro loans to further their growth. An idea that has only recently been promoted on a worldwide basis.
