horrible and unexpected experience tonight. i am a black woman and i came here with my white bf. one of the dancers was completely out of line, with just me. i believe her name is Michele and she is also a black woman but with a straight weave and red lingerie. my first encounter with this lady, i was minding my own business, watching a dancer on the pole and as i was about to grab dollar bills to throw, “Michele” pulls my swivel chair 180 towards her and starts initiating a dance. i said no thank you. simply because i did not find her attractive from the start. her breath also reeked of weed, she also just gave off crazy/loud vibes. i also did not like how she pulled me away from the dancer as i was going to throw bills, i felt sorry for the dancer and got vibes like she was competing with her, snatching me away like that. Michele approaches me a few more times throughout the night and each time i said no thank you, nicely every time. michele approached my table once again, but this time pulled my chair from the table, literally started pulling me by my wrist, trying to get me up from my chair, begging me to watch her dance on the pole. i said no thank you again. she said why whyy not. i said i’ve already been watching her on the pole all night. (she was dancing for a while, literally entertaining a large group at a vip section, and actually had hundreds of bills on the stage already as this was happening so IDK why she specifically wanted ME to give her more) then, michele started insulting me saying that i hate myself because i’m with a white man and that i hate black queens. literally taunting me and repeating herself. she even said “your bf likes black queens but you don’t” even tho my bf wasn’t really interacting with any dancers tonight and i was. i was throwing dollar bills and getting table lap dances from pretty much all races but mostly black women. i said at this point i’m really not giving you any money, she said who wants your single dollar bills anyways. i told her to leave me alone, go away, and get out of my face, she said she’s not in my face even tho she’s the one who approached me. sorry i only like to spend my larger bills on pretty girls and i love black queens, just specifically not her. management sent her home tonight but my night was...
Read moreSCAM!!! Where do I even start. The night starts off with my husband and I walking in and immediately being turned away for him wearing adidas pants. I didn't know there was a dress code, maybe it was on the website and I didn't see it, but a fault on us. So we go to target, buy some $40 dress pants, and come back. We then show the email we got for a free entry, and it needed to be printed. Which again, is a fault on us but thought it was kinda weird that I would have to find a printer somewhere to print out an email? We're on vacation in NYC so we had no printer around. Accepted defeat and payed $20 each to enter. We were there on a Sunday nigh, maybe around 8pm. No a soul in sight. No strippers, no other attendees. Just us and the bartender. We thought maybe we just need to wait for things to pick up later. Bartender comes up and says there's a 2 minimum drink order. Again, maybe that was on the website, but I didn't know about this. We both got $10 drinks and was charged $25? Not sure why, and then the bartender convinces my husband to give her more money because it's her birthday? Okay? Finally a dancer comes up, doesn't take her close off at all and put no effort on stage. Leaves after one song. We sit and wait and wait and wait. In the span of an hour, one two dancers dances and did a poor job low effort. I make my husband go over to the bartender to ask what's up and she says that it's mostly private rooms. What! You make buy drinks, get new pants, not take my free entry pass to then tell me there's basically no dances tonight! $100 spent in the span of just being here to have nothing. The front desk guy on our way out said sorry, we should have came on a better night. What a scam, what a rip off....
Read moreI would write an honest feedback and review. My first attempt to enter this club was denied , in fact after paying $25 cover charge, going through security and while trying to enter, one person wearing suit shouted from behind and gestured to come to front desk and told me to go out side. I had no idea what happened, i kept guessing - it is because I am short height ? is it because of i am brown ? Or Is it because i was wearing nice pair of shorts an t-shirt? God knows. But they could have done it politely. So definitely management was super rude and lacks professionalism. Good part - I assumed it was because of my shorts and t-shirt , so next day i went by wearing nice Shirt and trousers with formal black shoes hoping i would be given chance to enter this. It worked and i was able to enter and this time that rude manager and unprofessional manager was not there. Also amazed to find there were guys with shorts and t-shirts ??? How did it happen ? But I found girls were good. Honey was having great figure. But there were not many girls. I am not sure I would ever go to this club but racial discrimination or any type of discrimination is very unfortunate. Vivid cabaret is very professional in handling customers and yes they don't shout at customers nor they turn away their customers in a...
