I'm pretty skeptical of the positive reviews and I wonder how much of it is hype.

I'll start with the positive because there was only 1 and that was the person working the grill station. He was kind and courteous.

Everything else, from ordering at the kiosk to finally getting our order was pretty bad. This place has a lot of kinks to work out if they're going to survive.

I couldn't order an americano because you're forced to add milk and syrup, otherwise you can't add it to your cart. I instead chose an iced latte and an iced hazelnut latte. I also ordered an egg sandwich with cheese as well as 1 coin bread with nutella.

There are three stations in the main floor: a cafe, a grill, and a coin bread station. The person manning the coin bread station was incredibly unpleasant. The floor wasn't busy so we were waiting by that station for our food. She rudely told us to move. Later when we were waiting for the coin bread, a couple numbers after our order number had been called so we asked if our order was ready. She just looks at us, asks for our receipt, hands the receipt back, makes our order, and hands it to us without a word.

The person making our coffees was interrupted by another employee who didn't know how to work the ramyun machines upstairs (shocker). So in the middle of making our order, they leave and the employee from upstairs took over. The only thing is, this person has no idea how to work the machine and had to walk over to another person no less than 5 different times asking what to do. Our coffees ended up being almost all milk and at that point I had spent so much time in there already, I just wanted to leave. So much for "Speedy".

The coffees were inedible, the coin bread was disappointing and barely had any filling, and the cheese in the egg sandwich tasted like it was exposed to other things in the fridge.

I'm willing to overlook subpar food if the service is great and I'm willing to overlook poor service if the food is great. This place has neither. Please take your time and money elsewhere. It's a shame because it's a great space with two floors and there's a ton of potential. I don't want to nitpick but my experience here was almost comically bad. I wasn't the only customer having issues and while there were enough employees, it felt like almost no one really knew what they were supposed...

We were there yesterday which was March 25th. I ordered 10 coin cakes and paid through kiosk. My friend bought some rice and we went upstairs to eat which was about less than 10 meters away. 10 minutes later (at around 5.40 pm), we came down to pick up the order. There were a guy and a girl making coin cakes. I asked if they had my order. They took my receipt, read it, handed it back to me and the guy said "You went away right? Next time you have to stay". I was not happy about it because now I have to wait a long line but since we didn’t know, we just shook it off and said that it was okay because we would know better next time. After waiting for a bit I realized that my order wasn’t even clipped on the board so I asked them again if they needed my order receipt. They took the receipt, read it, and gave it back to me. So I thought that maybe they were just busy and they would make mine later. After most of the people were gone, I asked them again because it didn’t seem like it was coming up at all. I gave them the receipt for the third time and the guy finally walked to the nearest counter which was like 2 meters away and said " Yours was here all along. It was ready 10 minutes ago. It’s because you left". I felt like I was bullied. I ordered food, paid money, you give me my order when it’s ready. That’s it. What is so hard about this. Why putting me through all this when they could have told me that my food was ready when I came down to pick it up. When I go to other market, I order through kiosk which runs by number. I walk around to get other stuff then come back and get my food if it’s ready. There was never any problem. The coin cake was great. Though I did not enjoy...

During grand opening week, waited 30 minutes in line outside in the rain as they only had two registers open available to take orders. It looked like their two touchscreen kiosks by the door weren't set up yet during grand opening week.

You make your entire order for whatever you want at one register and then go around to different spots to pick up whatever you order based on your order number. If you get the dosirak, you choose your sides on the tablet which is probably why the line moved so slowly. The flow was a little bit awkward and confusing at first.

Got the cheese and corn gold coin cake which unfortunately was already room temperature when I got it, so no cheese pulled there. Had to bring it home and microwave it like another reviewer suggested.

The dosirak was pretty okay given that it was 50% off for grand opening week. They also had a small selection of drinks, side, dishes, kimbap rolls towards the back. Out of all the sides for the lunchbox, the LA galbi was the best one. Spicy pork was pretty spicy so not for those who can only do mild spice. Bulgogi was OK not the best I've had. The fried boneless chicken left much to be desired, it was crispy but lacked seasoning. They need to improve the quality of their food since this is K-town where good food can be found all around.

Upstairs there's standing room only tables which makes it a bit uncomfortable to eat but oh well. This floor is also where they have DIY ramen stations like...

The concept of this place is honestly ridiculous. It’s built in a way that is confusing. I tried ordering but it seems the guy couldn’t hear me and I don’t blame him, there’s a glass wall between us. It resulted in me not getting what I ordered. All of my questions regarding types of rice, what is in this plate, etc, were just ignored. The rice was so bland and tasteless that it feels intentional, but like a waste of money. The ribs are okay but they only give you 2 little ones. You’re forced to buy essentially a container of rice with some essence. Look at my before and after pictures to get an idea. The manager or owner (whoever he is) is honestly kinda rude. I asked if there was a bathroom and I understand when there isn’t but instead of just a simple ā€œnoā€ he told me to go outside. The wording felt weird. Also there is a space upstairs but no seats? Weird because it’s not like the city of Manhattan is covered in chairs. This concepts only works for about 3 months at a time, considering no one wants to eat outside during the rain, snow, wind, or when it’s unbearably hot and humid. If it’s just a take out place why bother with tables and no chair? I can’t get over that. Advice ? Get the concept in order, this place is rather dissatisfying. There’s so much competition around that I feel they should try more. Not really coming back here. In conclusion? A slightly below average restaurant with potential to become a slightly above average 7-11.
