The worst ever…….i placed an order on uber eats because the order was suppose to be delivered in 30 mins. I called after 45 mins they did not answer so I called uber support, uber support told me that in 5-10 mins they will deliver the food. I waiting 15 min before I called the store, the store worker picked up with an attitude. The worker told me 5-10 mins I explained that I already waited way pass the last 5-10 mins, he caught an attitude with me and just blatantly asked me if I wanted to get a refund I said yes. As soon as I said yes he hung up the phone, so I called uber support back to inform them of the interaction, they contacted the store and said that the delivery guy was downstairs coming up I stood on the phone with uber eats for 7 mins and nobody knocked on my door. They asked me if I wanted to wait and they would give me 20 percent back from my order I said ok I will wait because I am hungry and nothing else was open. They never delivered my food…..took my money $40 and never delivered. The delivery guy called and said he was on his way up and never showed. The restaurant called me asking if I spoke to uber support I said yes because of the interaction I had with you but I’m waiting for the guy to come up. He hung up on me again and when I tried calling the delivery guy he wasn’t picking up anymore and the restaurant blocked my number because I contacted uber support about how...
Read moreTo give context. I’m not sure if anyone is like this. I tend to prefer eating at Chinese spots where ambiance lacks but food tastes amazing. I also am hesitant to eat at a local place or hole-in-the-wall place where customer service is great but food & flavor are just bland.
Am I glad that Sunrise East restaurant proved me wrong. Before making it to the register to order, I noticed how clean and spotless the place was. Very well lit, decorated, inviting and warm atmosphere to put you at ease should you wish to dine-in. The hostess who I assume manages or owns the place was very hospitable but not in a trying-to-make-a-sale way but really genuine. The food was DELICIOUS. I ordered the dinner special, shrimp broccoli with pork fried rice which came with an egg roll. The egg roll was the best I’ve had in a while because some places give poor quality rolls since it’s complimentary.
My dinner was perfect balance of flavor, seasoning, salt and not super greasy like most places. 100/10 and would highly recommend.
If this was a chain restaurant that was accessible all over NY and across states, I’d eat there any chance I could. I wish your establishment continued success, growth and blessings....

I gave the young Chinese girl the money I notice that she had gloves on while taking the money she actually use the same glove to handle my food with she didn't use no utility to get the wonton so when I brought it to her attention she stated that she use the hand sanitizer and applied it to the gloves at this point I ask for my money back. She then accused me of giving them a bad review and demand that I don't go back there. when in fact it wasn't me so now she thinks all brown people look alike. I told her that I don't like to be accused of something I didn't do but now I will give a bad review in which Im am doing. The girl handle my food with dirty gloves after taking money with the same glove, accused me of something I didn't do and told me don't go back there when in fact she from the start was unsanitary while handling my food. Brown people do not support these disgusting people. I will never ever step foot back in there. She act like she doesn't want our...
