I recently had the pleasure of ordering delivery from Sushi Yoshi, and it quickly became one of my favorite sushi spots. If you're a sushi lover, this place is an absolute must-visit.
First off, the portions here are huge! Every dish we ordered was generously sized and beautifully presented. The quality of the food is top-notch, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. I highly recommend the salmon avocado roll – it's incredibly well-made with fresh, buttery salmon and creamy avocado that perfectly complements each other. Another standout was the egg yolk buns; they were delightfully rich and unique, making for a perfect ending to the meal.
Overall, Sushi Yoshi exceeded all my expectations. With its huge portions, superbly made dishes, and fantastic service, it’s a sushi lover’s paradise. Whether you're in the mood for classic rolls or something a bit different like the egg yolk buns, this place has got you covered. Don't miss out...
Read moreI used to order from the other queens location often with a partner. After we broke up I hadn’t had it in a while. Then I saw that this new location opened up by me and knew that life could still be beautiful 😭
Jokes aside their food is so good. Fresh and so delicious. Unpopular opinion, I’m not the biggest fan of the mid-tier Japanese food. Find it to be bland. While Japanese food can be simple but delicious I feel most places miss the mark and it’s just bland. Also I have never been to Japan so my experience is solely nyc based.
Sushi Yoshi is not bland. Simple but complex and so good. Burned my mouth going for the fried pollock cus I couldn’t wait. That also shows me how fast and fresh their delivery is
Thank you guys for having two locations with great food. The last place did not fall off in quality even a while after opening and I hope the same for this Williamsburg site 🙏🏽

Read moreRave reviews here but this really lacked finesse. Rice to fish ratio was criminally off on nigiri, way overboard on the rice, and fish was sloppily cut.
Some bits of rice throughout the various rolls and nigiri that was so hard we thought we were going to crack a tooth several times throughout the meal.
Paid $119 for the Yoshi daily special platter + sushi entree + soup dumplings and a few basic rolls.
The special nigiri pieces were essentially the same overbearing cuts of fish from the sushi entree platter with additional toppings that at best added very little to each cut, and in some cases had flavors that didn’t work at all.
The soup dumplings were really good though. Perhaps they should focus on dim sum instead. 😂
Overall meh. I’d go with kanahashi for a go-to sushi delivery, verge for something slightly more sophisticated, and nami nori for...
